nice shot of the Yavin 4 base & a T65 under wraps this is going to be even more old school then TFA hopefully they will recreate the combat centre as I loved the screens they used in ANH

Alright, having seen the construction blueprint of Starkiller base and the actual film TFA I can say that the corridor from the Verizon commercial was not featured in TFA (I paid Special attention to see this corridor).

So either it still shows up in the the extended edition of TFA or - of course - Rogue One.

But do those windows indicate it might be a Star Destroyer corridor?

If we get what it seems we all unanimously support, in the old school targeting computers & "Atari" style technology, it will be REALLY cool to essentially see the look of A New Hope redesigned with modern technology & filmed on modern cameras.

I'm definitely thinking this film will be darker, maybe not in content as much as physicality, dirtier, & grittier. Very much a war film.

I posted an image of the Star Destroyer control deck port side alcove on the previous thread page and, indeed, that should suggest it's a Star Destroyer corridor (we didn't see in TFA either).

However, ever since Rebels, Battlefront and now TFA, these windows are no longer the exclusive property of a Star Destroyer (although they should be, IMHO) but of any "Imperial" facility. :-(

I just want to see the SAME vehicles I saw in ANH. Not slightly modified vehicles so we can sell more toys vehicles but the SAME! I want ORIGINAL X-wings and Y-Wings! Wonder though if we might see some Z-95s?

Reading the report it just sounds like a T65 with a different squadron paint job & the R unit slot is just hidden by the canopy as he says himself he can not see the slot due to the raised canopy

should any of this bee in spoiler tags if so let me know so I can tag the post

I had planned on opening a thread about the things I don't want to see in TFA but obviously it's too late for that.

    ANOTHER CRASHED X-WING?

I think by now it's official that the new people at Lucasfilm have decreed that every new Star Wars variation (e.g. Battlefront video game, TFA) must at least feature a couple of crashed spaceships.

As for Rogue One we now do have two (that enigmatic troop carrier and now an X-Wing)

As long as it looks and feels like the era around A New Hope then its fine with me. We only got a small glimpse of the GFFA in the OT so a few differences are probably going to happen and should likely be expected. Plus we don't know how long before ANH Rogue One takes place or where exactly these events occur in the Star Wars galaxy. Some ships and technology might be slightly different in one part of the galaxy then in other parts especially for a ragtag group of rebels scraping by with whatever equipment they can use.
