    Thank you for sharing, it's truly fascinating to watch the making of the film that started it all. :) I'd seen the "Empire of Dreams" documentary but the droids give this a fresh feel to the "Making of..." video.

    The model filming techniques developed (~41 minutes in) were truly revolutionary. Film special effects would be set back years if it weren't for the hard work and imagination of the crews involved.

    same with the automated systems that were developed to films scenes from what i saw in empire of dreams as well
