I only started watching clone wars when Maul came back although I thought it was a bad idea it was done well. And we ended up with the brilliant final kenobi duel. The clone wars got better as it went on and this season of the mandolorian is getting better. Can definitely see it going on for 5/6 more seasons and I think we will definitely see DF bring back saga characters and they will be treated with respect. With Luke, and Leia in the same time line would fans be willing to have different actors? People want Solo 2. So don’t think anyone would be to upset to see
Alden Ehrenreich back as Han. With chewie! And lando. I think they have a lot of possibilities with the show. Imagine Han and Boba fett, reuniting. Mando taking a job to find the resting place of Vader, or Luke’s saber. Clone wars and rebels started very kid friendly but they ended up with really good story lines. Mandolorian is definitely in the right hands.

Grogu has made it to the very top! One person's idea is now a trend

 

Dave Filoni and Ming-Na Wen went to the same high school in the suburbs of Pittsburgh (though years apart). Other actors that went to that high school are Joe Manganiello (I think he and Dave were there at the same time for one year) and Gillian Jacobs. I wonder if Dave will bring them in to The Mandalorian at some point (or Star Wars in general).

 

Going to miss this show so bad! A whole year from now until S3. I guess Battlefront II, Jedi: Fallen Order and Squadrons games will have to do as a star wars fix meanwhile

When watching this episode worried Grogu may get killed but he didn't, got surprice that a jedi (2nd jedi that show up in the show, was Luck Skywalker and R2D2 with him, Grogu would of stayed with The Mando but he end up with Luke Skywalker. I felt emotional spceially when Grogi touch the hemlet if Mando and took it off to show Grogu his face and Mando look on when Luke walk off with Grogu and lift door shut, thought there be something but it finished. So much feel emotional doesn't help with this bad year. Feel bad for The Mando and do had his feel when Grogu went off with Luke. Wonder what he do next, Believe the show should be called The Mandalorian & Grogu, cos Grogu mostly part of it. Suprice to see Luke Skywalker show up, as well as Boba Fett last few episodes. Now he be having his own series, The Book of Boba Fett, it be next December long wait and no job, be with new job and may lose it again. Episode does effcet me even it just a show but shows do effect some people. Hope it don't effect me too much, enjoyed the show and loved the duos. Sure The mando will appeare in The Book of Boba fett, he be doing he always do but without worry about Grogu. *sigh*

 

We are going to be starving for info on The Book of Boba Fett and The Mandalorian season 3 for a long time! We probably won't get anything official until at least summer or around october.

When did we start getting official info for this season?

 

I would like in season 3 to see Ahsoka again and Thrawn. And what Boba is going to do now in Tatooine. Regarding The Book of Boba Fett, I hope it will explain how he survived to the Sarlaac.

 

Ahsoka's episode was a backdoor pilot and now she's getting her own show where Thrawn will probably be the main villain. She could still appear in a cross over episode event though

 

Can't wait to see more of Boba The Hutt & Space Waifu

 

Okay so I'm trying to sort something out.

Is "The Book of Boba Fett" a new series? Or is Mando S3 then beginning of the Book of Boba, starting again at Chapter 1? Are Seasons 1-2 "The Book of Din Djarin"?

Because as much as I want more Boba, I would be really bummed to abandon Din. And yet there's a few things that make me think this is the case:

Mando Season 3 is slated for December 2021, same as Book of Boba

The episode title convention of "chapters" makes me think that the show might be beginning a new "book"

And lastly, this season just has such a definite ending.

but I kinda hope I'm wrong

 

Personally, I think that season 3 will be Mando & Bo-Katan trying to retake Mandalore. I think that The Book of Boba Fett will be its own show, but, because of the release dates, maybe intertwine with The Mandalorian.

 

Is it possible that the armorer knew that sending Din to find those of his own kind would lead him to Bo Katan and then to Gideon and the dark saber? And that ultimately Din might bring it to her?

 

@Jaxxon my friend, I am thinking the same thing. I mean they basically stated such right after the after credits scene....TBH I am not stoked for a Boba series, would rather see season 3 of Mando

And what about Grogu? Ok Mandalore but I would like to see more of him. His species, his training and who knows, maybe the future meet with other padawans. And I would like to see Luke and Ahsoka fighting together.
Do you think we are going to see the Battle of Jakku? Would it be possible?

 

My wish for Christmas: More than 8 episodes. So much action to squeeze into a short Season, but I'll take it any way I can get it. Happy Holidays to all;
