I did, but then I saw his buddy watching him from a cage, knowing he was next...and I felt kinda bad. Fortunately it didn't last long. :p

(Though Poe is only a little child at this time, I feel he would approve of Kowakian monkey-lizard roasting. [See Star Wars Resistance!])

Yeah, I thought the bounty holograms were a bit silly, too.

Like, is it really more economical to have multiple holocubes each housing a single projection than, say, each bounty hunter could have a single holocube that could be programmed with many projections?

Thus is Star Wars tech, though. Best not to overthink it.

Yeah, that wording seemed a bit odd to me as well.

As @eeprom mentioned, perhaps the events of the Purge have reshaped Mandalorian culture.

A "clan" has a very familial connotation, but a "tribe" could perhaps come to mean many clans gathered together, following a wake of some cataclysm.

Or, perhaps it has something to do with the apparent population of "foundlings". Maybe the group we see is a tribe because it's more or less comprised of castaways, rather than being a more official clan.

Watching a Mando get his armor forged was so badass, I can't even.

Perhaps: the Tribal man becomes worthy of his own a Clan after earning his SIGNET?

    Soon.

I have to know what the conversation was like with George on what a Baby Yoda would eventually look like. I mean, they have to had a conversation with him, right? Especially since Dave Filoni directed the first episode.

I love the score. I made a comment to my husband about it halfway through the episode.

CloneYoda has left me with a couple of questions:

    1. Who feeds bay bay
    2. Who Sheev's, bay bay's beard
    3. Who wipes away bay bay poo poo
    4. What happens when kidnappers die of old age

Suspended animation? . . . . . . . that still lets you age . . . because science in Star Wars is basically magic?

I think that yodas are hatched in some super weird complex manner that is way to impossible for our minds to understand. That is yoda's baby that came from some weird egg laying before he died.

Oh man. Baby Yoda is such a goddamn clever idea to have us - the fans - invested in what's the deal with this bounty. I never wanted to have the mystery of Yoda's race revealed, but well - now that they're doing it, I'm all in!

Congrats to Dave Filoni on his first live-action episode. It's great that he got that chance and, even though the directing wasn't flawless, I think he did a great job. I'm also very happy with the score - the main theme is fantastic, much better than I expected!

What if Baby Yoda is Yoda reborn? That he discovered the secret to manipulate the Midi-chlorians to create life (a body)? (yoda 2)
