I am starting this thread a couple days early, so we don't get a ton of new ones that we have to merge together later.

When we last saw the Mandalorian he was hanging out with our favorite tiny dude, now lets see what kind of trouble they can get into this week.

My first question is will he have to change a frog poodoo diaper??

My big query is will Babyoda be gone after tepisode 3 or will Mando have a change of heart and break his deal with the Client after getting the Beskar?

Wouldn’t that be too late though after all I’m going to guess the client is a completely incompetent ( Yes I know the Empire doesn’t have a great track record in this :p) & he won’t get the Beskar until after the exchange also I’m guessing he doesn’t just get the armour he just gets the raw material so if he is going to break the contract then he is going to do it before going to the exchange & decides to basically go on the run with his new charge & so becoming a bounty hunters target himself. Which actually sounds pretty neat.

He owes baby Yoda what you would call life debt.

I think he will have some questions about what they plan to do with baby Yoda, and I don't think The Client responds well to such questioning.

Went back,, watched 1 and 2 over again. I think I'm convinced this is the best SW since Jedi. Or it has that potential. My 13 year old is into it. My 7 year old watches with absolute fascination. Even the cutesy-ness of the yodaling appeals to me, though I fight it. See you all Friday.

Prediction: The Mando (I'm using that specific term for a reason) is going to show a bit of hesitation in handing the little green guy over, but is going to do it for the good of the foundlings he supports. Then, maybe, late in season two once he has grown beyond being a "simple" bounty hunter, the story will pick this thread back up.

It's a classic trope in westerns. Tough guy who is really good down deep, makes a moral decision, but not right away. He has to be led to that decision by events. He has to grow.

Twist on above prediction: After the Mando reluctantly hands over the little green guy, it becomes apparent to him that their intentions are entirely too dark, and in a moment of conscience (after collecting the bounty) he kills everyone in the room, re-takes possession of the asset, and turns him over to a shadowy group that is a safe-haven for those with the same abilities as the little guy...but we potentially have 5 more episodes for this to come to fruition.

I really like this one. I also like @Lazlo s prediction but I can totally see that not happening only cause I think it might be too much of a long game. But I can definately see the Mando having a change of heart as he turns over the little green guy.

Darn tomorrow morning can't come soon enough!

If Mando gets the Beskar, and then betrays the Client and takes the Babyoda to his Mando Clan; he could offer the tons of Beskar and get protection; The Mandos all forging new armor and preparing for a new golden age of their people!

Mat vi restore kote bal ijaat at te clan! (boba fett)

    House Kryze!

The Scientist may even help Mando because he wants Babyoda alive and the Client is willing to terminate Babyoda.

I don’t know. I think Mando would give up too much good will with the viewer if he gives him up. What you’re suggesting totally makes sense... I’d just hate Mando for it.

I agree, that’s why ai think he exchanges for the Beskar, but then has a change of heart; ghosts the Stormtroopers and kills the Client. Then he, Babyoda, and the Scientist go to the Mandalorian Underground. There having honored the clan with enough Beakar, he and Babyoda are safe.

I have often waited new episodes every week for a lot of tv-shows but it had never been so long. My God...

This show keeps getting better and better! When the other mandos dropped down using their jet packs I hollered out loud. Talk about star wars at it's core; at it's best, " wouldn't choo agree?"
@Lazlo You we're pretty much on target in your prediction. I was glad he wen't back for the kid. When he started asking questions against guild code early on I knew then he was going to go back for him like, f the guild I'm not a member.

    How bout those whistling birds!

So he didn't earn the mudhorn signet because he had help from baby yoda. I wonder what his signet will eventually be? It would be crazy if he gets attacked by Moff Gideon in his TIE but ends up taking him and the TIE down making a TIE fighter his signet. Now THAT......would be dope.

Star wars live action television? This is the way. I have spoken.

Babyoda ought to be his signet. A circle with pointy ears, because Mando braved so much to save The Asset. Even though the Mandolorians with Jetpacks helped; Mando was willing to die for Babyoda.

Meh. The Mandalorian religion is kind of silly and poorly set up, Boba Fett's jet pack, which was realistic, has now been replaced by an iron man suit. The whole "Mandalorians to the rescue" sequence was pretty stupid. Also, enough with the childhood flashbacks. We get it. Sloppy episode.

Ha, Mando, “My armor has lost its integrity. I may need to begin again”...we all knew it wasn’t your armor you were talking about. Does look nice though. ;)

Good to know Willrow made it out of Cloud City ok and his accessories lived on. :p
