The Mandalorian S1E3

Lucas himself has said that Anakin was the Chosen One. I think that issue is pretty much closed... now if the Chosen One actually followed his purpose is up for debate.... or rather, what people’s expectations and assumptions of the prophecy is up for debate...

I think Mando’s help came because the Mando enclave is relatively close by... would not be too hard to see/ hear what was happening. This, if one of their own is under attack, it did not matter the consequences of the choice to go public, loyalty to the Mandos is the way.

I think it could mean two things... BY was the bounty this an enemy... or BY is Force sensitive and equated with the Jedi, who have a history of war with the Jedi and this an enemy.

 

Its pretty much accepted that Anakin is the Chosen One. When I said Cal Kestis is possibly the Chosen One, it was to say his act in last part of Fallen Order to be friends with SPOILER is very Chosen Onesque. Anyways, back to Mando..

After permission from Rear Admiral (admin) I change my profile picture back to the original, which is also from The Mandalorian show. It looks really cool and I like it.

This is the way!

 

So another Mando Eve, fulling expecting a mid season filler, we can't possibly have another chapter that continues to be better than the last can we?

Also a lot of talk about this being the best Star Wars since the OT etc. Just got me thinking is it because this show is just really really good, like the best TV series full stop, not just Star Wars. It's so early days but if feels up there with Breaking Bad, GOT, stranger things etc. Difficult to judge with the heavy Star Wars bias but even my wife is loving this series so far and she's not a massive Star Wars fan, she tolerates it, (I think irreversible damage was done when I made her fly half way around the world to watch TPM 7 times. lol) but she's already engrossed by it.

 

I need to get premission to use a Babyoda avvie, should I beseech The Rear Admiral?

 

A few hours to the next episode here are my thougths about it. If you don't want to be spoiled please don't read further!



************** POTENTIAL SPOILERS AHEAD - DON'T READ IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE SPOILED **************



Mando is on a run. Who is going to get to him first?

1. Those Niktos on Arvala-7 are ( most probably ) working for someone. Taking into account the compound, the sentry gun, the amount of cargo containers and the number of mercenaries - he is a very resourceful man. Most probably some crime lord, maybe some Hutt.

2. IG-11 repaired and hunting him again seeking retaliation. Never leave weapons behind which can be used against you!

3. IG-11 said his orders are to terminate babyyoda. Is it possible to work for a different client? Who's that guy who wants the baby terminated and why? What other resources he can put in the fight?

4. The Client mentioned that "he wants him ", so somebody else who is in contact with the client also wants babyyoda. Maybe he will get disappointed by the poor performance of the client and will take the things in his own hands.

5. The Client, pooling new resources, more stormtroopers or even imperial assets - tie fighters, shuttles, even maybe a full blown star destroyer. Always attack an organization cutting it's head first!

6 The bounty hunters gild, pooling more bounty hunters from other sectors. Most probably lead by Greef Karga, but possible also by another leader of the gild. Always check that you target is dead before taking off ( and collect the beskar from him ) !

 

Good episode. All I could think of though when the Mandalorians friends showed up using jetpacks was..."They can fly now?" They fly now.

 

Why does it seem like everyone thinks Chapter 3 is the best episode in The Mandalorian? Don't get me wrong, I liked it, just like I liked all 8 of them. And maybe I need to re-watch it or something, but from what I remember that one isn't even close to the best one for me.
