Regarding the tracking fobs, they appear to be very limited. Everyone in the bar had one and none of them were alerting until baby Yoda got really close. So it's not like you could be on the other side of the galaxy and it would lead you to someone.

Not idiot.. simply Disney did such a good job with green screens and sets. Oh tech has come a long way from The Air Force One (Harrison Ford) days of CGI.

The tracking fobs I believe need to be pretty close. From Ep1 Mando was given last known location and the fob. So believe the last known location was how he got to planet. Ugnolte got him to compound and fob pointed out the target.

I wonder if The Client will hire a Sith to hunt down Mando and Babyoda:

He dies in Rebels, shortly before the Battle of Yavin.

The Mandalorian is roughly a decade after that.

The trackers are a little inconsistent. If they simply point out Tiny is close why didnt they go off once Mando landed. People saw him walking through town on way to the client. Thats why I was confused when they all turned on after he got Tiny back. I thought all of a sudden the fobs were pointing to Mando.

Perhaps there's a way to deactive or dampen them once you've reached a target, and perhaps this was remotely re-enabled by the Client after the Mando escaped?

Visual language could've conveyed this better, if so, but I guess it's plausible.

Well perhaps another Son of Dorthimir may appear who wields the Dark Side and hunts Babyoda. :)

I definitely took it as the fobs had been deactivated after he communicated to the client that he had the Yodling, and reactivated after the escape.

It reminded me of the John Wick 2 ending.

Yes, remember The Client had baby Yoda long enough for The Mandalorian to get armor forged. Those fobs had all been deactivated. Once The Mandalorian broke in and absconded with the kid, The Client turned them back on.

It's possible The Mandalorian called ahead to the Client to have the fobs turned off to avoid any other confrontations and ensure a smooth trip back. Maybe that didn't happen and a few fobs alerted when he arrived and it just wasn't important to show us that.
