The Mandalorian S1E3

What's interesting though is that it's possible that child Mando and Maul might have both been on Mandalore before the Great Purge, so flashbacks including Maul might be possible. Not necessarily likely, but you never know.

 

The only way to top it would be to include Luke, Ben, and Jedi trainees in ground battle as Mandos rain blaster bolts from the air:

 

That’s what I assumed. The client deactivated them.

 

Then Re-activated them during the siege of his headquarters. Now the Bounty Hunter has a bounty on his head. Poetic.

 

So the Mandalorians have to find a new base... probably a good time for a resurgence as well. What if LucusFilm ties TM in with TROS by having the Mandalorians part of the new alliance (thousands of ships in Ep IX trailer) ... there’s enough time in between this series and Ep IX for the Mandos to have rebuilt their ranks and numbers. They already hate the empire... may make sense!

 

You might have just discovered a secret. You are wise Master Dave. I would love to see Mandos join the Alliance! This would make defeat of the First Order and Resurgent Empire possible.

 

Fobs stuff probably is one of the confusing parts. And I say again, going to a town full of bounty hunters without hiding the asset seems a bit neglected.

What's pretty clear is The Mandalorian and other Mandos killed a bunch of bounty hunters on that fight. Hope not to see same faces and aliens in next episodes cause at this moment all scenes in the town have been almost identical (although i think he will not come back to that cantina). Hope to see known and new planets from now on.

Hope the story will open a little more. Maybe now with the "Los Pollos hermanos" Empire thing will be different.
Beside the confusing parts, I can't wait what other episodes will bring to us and the new surprises will appear.

 

I really enjoyed this episode. The drama was built up nicely and it was really well paced. The fight at the end gave me a big smile. Seeing the Mandalorians come in at the end was so cool. It was like a live action version of the Clone Wars. I agree that The Obi Wan series appears to be in good hands with Deborah Chow. This episode has been my favorite so far. I can’t wait to see what is in store next week.

 

I loved the Mando Rescue scene. To see our brothers in full harness blasting as in the glory days! It was spectacular! I cannot wsit to see The Mandos reveal themselves to the galaxy, “at last we will reveal ourselves to the Galaxy, at last we will have revenge.”

 

The Client sure seems very interested in Mandalorians. His comment about it being difficult to find one seemed significant. I wonder if he was involved with the purge of Mandalore? It would explain why he has the beskar. Something tells me he has a whole lot more.

 

I think had to be the Client since Greef was in the bar and he had one that turned on as well.

 

Since that comment came right after he kind of rebuked the Mandalorian for asking what was going to happen to Babyoda, I took what he said (being difficult to find a true Mandalorian) as a sort of jab at the Mando for not being a killing machine, as if the Client thinks of Mandalorians as "ideal warriors" who don't have hearts that worry about babies.

But actually the Client could have meant both things...

 

This kinda makes me worry about Obi-Wan show. Who expects the locals in Obi-Wan to be almost the same as what we have already seen in The Mandalorian. Desolate desert like wastelands. They could almost use the same sets.

The landscapes may be similar but we haven't seen much of Tattoine at night, we haven't had the Hutts yet, the Krayt dragon (presumably that's what the huge skeleton in ANH is) and in Rogue One you have Bail Organa making a reference to Kenobi, if not in name. For all we know that character or Alderraan may feature somehow, as well as evading the Empire. Lots to explore although it's inevitable there will be some desert and rocks.
