SPECULATION The Mandalorian S1E7

What a crazy week. Looking forward to chapter 7 tomorrow and then on to TROS

 

Well. Out of the frying pan into a really BIG fire. No more little forays into the wilderness while Mando finds himself. A great Episode. We've jumped whole hog into the 40's and 50s Serial dramas of Flash Gordon and Buck Rogers. BTW, many serial were produced and a number were westerns. One more episode and the big finale. Who's life is left hanging until Season 2?

 

well that was intense, beyond words..

you know without a shadow of doubt that IG11 will be saving the day though.

As far as I could hear there were no spurs jangling on Moff Gideon's boots when he walked so not him then, I have a feeling thats just a hook that could now come in season 2

 

The finale should be fantastic!

 

That was an amazing episode! The build up and development is over! We are in full on panic mode! Yeah panic mode. They have TINY. My boy Q is out of the picture and if IG doesn’t come out of that ship and start to throw some scunion down at these troopers I’m gonna lose my bantha poodo.

I love seeing the death troopers again! The only thing that could have been better for me would be to see them maneuver and show them using the scrambler boxes. It was pure joy. Yes they are on the wrong side of this but hey, poodo happens (trying to keep it clean. I have an affinity for the f/s-word and profanity in general).

What variation of TIE was that!?!? I’ve never seen that! Mind instantly blown!!!! I loved the personnel carrier and seeing the stormtroopers line up behind the death troopers like “you can’t get us. My big brother is here and he’s gonna beat you up”! I want to see Mando Vs. Squad of Death Troopers!!! That would be epic!

Last but not least.... everyone has to die. They killed Q, dropped TINY, made an EPIC entrance. They can’t let this stand. Sorry about the erratic post. I’m super excited and literally just finished. Now for the rewatch!!!

 

yeah this was one of my favourite toys as a child, with the sound effects on the top, I love that they brought it to life

I didn’t get the toys. I still love it though. That TIE though was crazy. I was serious though. Doe’s anyone know the variation? It almost looks like a TIE advance. The wings are a different shape and fold differently. Not to mention it has the one panel missing from the from of the octagon stabilizer wings. I didn’t see it in the databank and don’t remember it in any of the Cannon shows.

My prediction is the Assassin.

 

Awesome episode. Honestly up to this point I was kind of at a loss for where all the budget money was going that was spent for the series. Now I see they were saving it for this and I assume the last episode.

 

So I haven’t seen anyone post about it yet, it’s still fairly early in the release.

TINY using force choke/dark side against Cara while they were arm wrestling. I for one LOVED that, simply because your seeing Mando’s influences in him. He wanted to protect his friend and did it just as he was shown from episode 1. When TINY gets to where ever he is going I feel bad for the first person that has to stick him with a needle.
Officer: Get a sample from the specimen.
Med Tech: Right away sir.
*Pulls our needle in front of TINY and sticks him*
Moments later.
Officer: What’s taking so.... What in the....
*Med Tech in the air chocking*
Officer: This job sucks.

Now a new question looms for the future. What side will TINY choose? Light, Dark, or maybe Grey? How will he Handel the future?

 

Interesting especially since the Ugnot (spelling) mentions hearing about things like that when he was working the Empire. Was he talking about Vader? And considering the age he claims to be, I'd think he would have lived for a while before the fall of the Republic and the doom of the Jedi Order.

Moff Giedon is for real. This is the Imperial holdout that I've been waiting for. We've seen shattered and tattered remnants so far but this is the hardcore elite of the Empire. These guys are going to be a real challenge for our heroes next week and I can't wait to see how they get out of it. I have a felling that IG will be a part of it somehow.

Also curious where the other Mandos went.

 

Remember they had to move when they helped Mando. They don’t show their numbers since the great purge.

 

Amazing episode. I'm already eager to see Season 2 and hope there can be at least another season after that. So much potential story here!

My guesses for the eighth episode:

Kuiil either survives long enough to get back on board and alter IG-11's programming, or IG-11 discovers Kuiil and activates "protection" mode - something Kuiil indirectly referenced.

Possibly the Mandalorians reappear as well, and/or The Child becomes actively involved with the rescue.

On the other hand, possibly the season cliff-hanger will be that they almost succeed but fail or are betrayed at the end, with The Child being firmly in Imperial possession, raising the stakes higher yet for Season 2.

I can't see the "MacGuffin" switching from The Child, since it drives this show, so we might be headed for an ESB - style ending going into Season 2.

As for the Imperial interest in The Child re-enunciated in this episode, I have some theories, most which, in my mind, could connect with the Sequel Trilogy - particularly the First Order, Palpatine, Rey, and perhaps Snoke. I'll wait until I get to see TROS to see how that could play out.

Until then, it'll be fun to theorize based upon all this great new content.

So what would you say about this episode? Good enough?

We have seen so much in this episode. I am really satisfied, I wish episodes 4,5 to be the same. And please don't tell me this was needed for character development. Those were pure fillers, now you can make the difference.

I think this is the very first time we see TIE landing. Such an amazing appearance, so powerful. I think the TIE came out of supersonic boom before landing. I don't want to be in the crosshair of this thing!

Yeah .. according to the trailer you will see Mando shooting those troopers. Sorry for the spoiler - I think the Death troopers will be demobilized at that moment. The arrangement is normal for assault, main unit in the front, supporting units covering the back and the sides. Nothing really related to “you can’t get us. My big brother is here and he’s gonna beat you up”

 

Great episode! Just as I figured, the team comes together. Bummer about Ugnolte and the blurrgs. I still believe this season will end on a high note with the team assembled and baby yoda named.
