The Mandalorian S1E8 - Season Finale

I was thinking the same thing. Ahsoka should be in her mid 50's if I have my timeline correct. We could easily see any of them.

Me too. Knowing how those shows are made it is near 100% sure that we will not see any of the original or extended trilogy characters. For the Clone Wars / Resistance characters - well, this is possible because the transition anime -> live-action movie is opening a lot of possibilities for casting.

Dave Filoni made a great debut into live-action Star Wars! I think he will be the next best director for Disney. If what I hear about Kathleen Kennedy is true I prefer she never touch anything Star Wars again.

At that time Ahsoka has nothing to do with Jedi Order, she is no longer jedi. I also think that it is possible to see her in the Mandalorian, she can provide some information about the yoda species ( assuming she has any, for I am not sure she has, but hey - this is a new show and everything is possible ).

And once they decided to be pacifist they came to a conflict with separatists first and later on with the empire and get almost completely destroyed. Sad fate ...

 

I don't think she will tie into the Jedi, it may be just something on the force as Mando learns more about the Jedi. Any of them will work for this. It will be interesting to see where S02 goes.

 

Bringing in Ahsoka and Sabine would certainly make for a clean and convenient tie-in. Ahsoka knew Yoda, so at least she's familiar with the species (know one else seems to know what to make of it) and Sabine is a Mando, so there's that. Maybe just feature them in an episode or two as cameos, as I'm hoping for a thorough Rebels spin-off/sequel.

 

My idea for season 2:

Djarin's quest to learn more about the Jedi leads him to someone who salvaged Luke's (Anakin's) lightsaber from Bespin. That person tells Djarin they do not know the Force, they just found the saber, but advises him to go ask Maz Kanata because she's been around a long time and may know the species of the child. Djarin gives Maz the Saber and she drops a ton of knowledge on him (and us)!

 

At the close of the season, let us offer a libation in honor of our departed IG-11, and to Kuill, whose work with IG-11 we could trust, and who showed us that the skill of his hands could indeed win freedom for our crew.

Ha! I’m picturing a mess of 12 year olds desperately flailing about while slamming into walls like so many Boba Fetts.

One of my favorite parts was when the Mandalorian Ironsmith fought the Stormtroopers. It showed that she can do more than just make armor.

Guys, am I wrong to say that this is the very first R unit with arms and legs? 4 arms? The design looks very complete btw

Legs look very similar to L3-37 ( Solo movie ), which are taken from another droid. I wish they give more info about all those items.

I have never heard of any having arms or legs before.

 

This is maybe some aftermarket mod for developing planets where R series astromech droids are used to push lava scow down the river Common guys, this astromech can calculate hyperspace jump coordinates and they use it to navigate a boat down the river or a repursorlift sled on the street of Nevarro

This is what happened, my guess of course not a conon, a lot of decommissioned astromech droids ended on underdeveloped worlds like Nevarro, where people don't have starships to use them on ... so they came up with some ingenious mods to retrofit the droids for more practical jobs ... and this awesome hybrid was born. I am a big fan of all those mods, upgrades and the whole concept of salvaging droids.
