The Mandalorian S2E1 (or ch. 9 if you prefer)

IMO he did just that in the episode and Din should have recognized that. But then it doesn't set up a Mando-Boba confrontation people need to wet themselves over

 

They'll likely team up again at the end of the season and Din gives Vanth the armor permanently while we still get Boba vs Mando in some form. So I don't see the issue when it's a win win for fans.

Let the season play out!

 

Oh, I have no doubt that the armor will pay off in some form eventually.

 

I'm interested to see what the other Mandalorians think of Boba, if they know anything about him or even Jango.


Din is adopted and after watching The Marshall, I'm sure he's cool like Hoth as long as you follow the codes/creed/whatnot.

 

There are not so many left, right ( considering also the pile of broken armor on Nevarro mandalorians must be endangered species ).

If i am not wrong the Fett armor is made of durasteel, same as Din Djarin armor in the beginning. Reason is that beskar is very expensive, so many mandalorians wear armor made of durasteel instead of the precious beskar. Durasteel is tough enough for the job, just maybe a bit too heavy.

 

Really, really enjoyed the episode.

The line "When one chooses to walk the way of the Mandalore, you are both hunter and prey" makes a little more sense after what Gore Keresh tells him. It would seem that the "coverts" have no knowledge of each other by design. The Great Purge would seem to be an extinction event that came close to eliminating the Mandalorian clans. I really wish they would give us more info on this.

Who else facepalmed when they showed the Tuskan brushing the bantha's teeth with the gaffi stick and thought "OF COURSE! They aren't only for beating Luke Skywalker." ?

Speculation: Boba (whom I believe we were shown at the end of the episode) will confront Djarin at Peli's hanger, asking why Din is searching for Mandalorians or him or whatever, Din will explain, and Boba, who hates Jedi, will try to kill the Child. I honestly don't know if Din kills Boba or what, but Din will be victorious. Peli will overhear the confrontation. She knows of the Force and will send Din to the next leg of his search.

 

Well ... the wiki is quite inconsistent. Another article says Boba Fett added a digital life support indicator into his left duraplast blast plate. So if I trust it then the chest plates are made of duraplast not even durasteel. Huh, whatever it is made of it obviously corroded in the sarlacc belly

 

The Spittoon looks mighty clean to me. Ever seen one in action? Those guys missed as often as they hit it. Another good reason to return to Tatooine is Peli Motto.
I've never seen Amy Sadaris in any TV show, movie, etc. She was fresh, made a beliveable garage renter/owner/attendant , refusing to put up with bullies, garage fee skippers, jerks and idiots of all kinds. Super sarcastic until she sees the Kid. Her whole posture and attitude changes. I'd like to see more of her.

To be honest - never saw one in action. Those must be something related to the wild west.
I was wandering what are those things attached to the sides. I think they overdid it sci-fi.

 

One thing is sure: if he really is Boba Fett and he wants his old cool suit back, he will have to lose some weight to fit into that tiny armor.

 

I'd just like to say to say that I thoght this episode was krate. Really, really krate.
