We got the squad in the first season- Greef, IG-11, and Cara Dune.

Do we think Katan, Vanth, and maybe even the Frog Family might join forces with them at some point? Form their own team? Rejoin Mando on seperate occasions with no crossover with other characters?

 

I think chances are good we get Ahsoka as a last (5 to 10) second show-up, this friday. She'll be the main character opposite to Mando in next weeks episode. Because that one is written and directed by Dave Filoni.

I think "The Watch" is just short for "Deathwatch", like with GoT's "Night's Watch".

The "Children of the Watch" is most likely the name given by other Mandalorians to the fundametalist splintergroup, who call themselves the "Fighting Corps". I think the CotW-name was chosen because they, unlike other Mandalorians, solely exist of foundlings.

I don't know if there are higher-ups above the Armourer, but I don't think there's much "chain of command" among the members of the Fighting Corps underneath her. I do have the fealing she knows much more than she's letting on and keeps the others ignorent of a lot of things, to keep them focused and easier to control... This is the way!

Hmmm... now why does this make me think of a former professor named Gilderoy Lockhart?

Nah, I didn't get the sense they're endangered as a species. This was just her last batch of eggs and therefor the last chance for Mr and Mrs Frog to continue their family-line.

At least they're not closely related...

 

I'm thinking Bo-Katan and Cobb Vanth are joining at some point, not sure if they will interact with Greef and Cara at some point. I think perhaps Boba found Fennec Shand and she is not dead so she might still be looking to get her hands on The Child, and if either Greef or Cara are injured or dead Mando is going to need help to face Gideon, and we know who is looking to recover something Gideon took away so yup, many possibilities.

@Master_Farkaz, great post, if I could I would give you two times the ratings, at least!

The fact that we didn't saw those frogs up to now suggests that they are not that much spread across the galaxy. I have no clue so far are they endangered or not, but for those two frogs this is the last chance to have offspring.

I am not over-eager or maybe you wanted to say greedy for likes in any way, yet I enjoy the likes very much just like most of the people here, that's my stimuli to post more I was expecting that this is done on purpose and there is some clever idea in place so here it is.

In my humble opinion, when posts get merged together it creates more clutter compared to separated posts per quotation. It also gives people the opportunity to replay just this post. Imagine I answer 5 people quoting their messages, it will be all merged in one post creating a huge post divided in sections of quotes and replays. Isn't that more cluttered? Who's going to read it? For me it is more cluttered and I have to focus in the force trying to find the part quoting my post and reading all the replays in between so to decide do I like it or not.

Since we are talking on the forum functionality, may I ask you please, why the pictures are shrink to such small size and is there a way to download the posted pic in the original size/quality as it was uploaded?

If I have something to say on the topic do I need to restrict myself and really put a quality threshold for a topic discussing a serial based on Star Wars in a forum? I like to keep things simple and straightforward ... I mean, that looks like a stress already for something I expect to do for fun

Mando is going to meet up with Cara and Greef at Nevarro right? Based on the trailer footage, it seems Empire has some pressence there and they will somehow interact with it. How do you guys think this will happen?

i have a feeling that Moff Gideon will capture the child, so Mando will go back to his friends on Nevarro and ask for help. Greef was saved by the baby so he will be more that eager to help. And Cara is a good friend, she always helps. And so we will come to that scene when they are together in this transport.

 

Was this actually confirmed in the leaks/synopsis? I actually speculated that this very thing will happen and that perhaps the rescue fails and Ahsoka is the one to help out after Din Djarin seeks her out being desperate and all.

Again, these are all just wild guesses of mine.

I don't trust those leaks. That's just my gut feeling.

I hope for the same, I am not sure if Bo-Katan can step down from her leading position and accept the leadership from Din if they are working on his task, but they may be a great team. Vanth is a great guy and I really want to see him more in the show. Also Timothy Olyphant is a good artist, it will be a joy to watch them do some job together.

 

Wild guess: They need the Mythrol for something (a new ship maybe, money?), the Empire has him in their facility on Nevarro after Greef gave him up. They go in and get him.

Well, the fact that Peli Motto (the mechanic that fixed his ship) said specifically it was Frog Lady's last chance to procreate, I think we can safely assume their species as a whole is not in danger.
Also the fact we haven't seen a species before does not mean there are only a few of them out there ofcourse.
The GFFA is a big place and we have only seen a small number of its planets.

Then perhaps you could see it as a kind of training to greater your Force-using aptitude.

Most likely it is automatically shrunk to keep the page light enough to ensure it's easy and quick to load for multiple devices.

I usually try to keep it concise (or "short-n'-sweet") and to-the-point. But sometimes I can get a little carried away... when it has been a while since I visited a thread.

Your posts are a bit long, that's what I was afraid when I post multi-quoted. I was trying not to do this because I am afraid no one will have the patience to read it and to search for his quote.

OK ... not for image posting. I can understand that part with the size and privately owned and cost of hosting, but maybe this can be explained somewhere, not that I have to guess it. I was re-directed already to other forum when I tried to discuss about props, costumes, etc. ... because other forums are more suitable. And when I post about 3D printing no MOD commented, seems that this is not related to Star Wars I received a few likes there so I draw the conclusion that there are a few people interested. No, when I click/tap on it, its still small. I mean I have uploaded 2K resolution screenshots from the episode, and they all get shrank to much smaller size. This is why I ask, if there is another way to get the original file.

 

Spoiler: Next Episode Director and Possible Implication

Looks like the next episode is directed by Carl Weathers.

Not sure if that makes it more (or less?) likely that Greef will make an appearance.

 

I was always wandering what is the official purpose of that vest which Mandos are wearing between the beskar and the flight suite. Found it finally:

"Armorweave was an armored cloth material capable of dissipating blaster bolts, and with at least limited resistance to lightsaber attacks. Bounty hunters, mercenaries, and the counts of Serenno traditionally wore capes and jackets made out of armorweave. General Grievous and his IG-100 MagnaGuard bodyguards wore armorweave, and Darth Vader's cape was also made of this material. The Clawdite assassin Zam Wesell wore a suit of Mabari armorweave. The bodysuit under Mandalorian armor was made of armorweave."

I read somewhere they call it power vest. No, it's not powered but it is somewhat special because it can dissipate blaster bolts. I wander why imperial troopers are not wearing it, even the most elite are protected only by their plastoid armor shells. Maybe it was too expensive.
