So, it seems like a Snoke had an appearence in that episode.

 

Since Ahsoka's involved and the last we saw her she was searching for Ezra, it seems to me there's still a possibility of Gideon forcibly turning Ezra into Snoke.

 

Yeah I think the budget is considerably bigger. Also this cinematographic technology which they were developing is more mature and is giving them the result they were expecting. I really like the graphical part of the show, it is done so beautiful.

Nah, just another deformed body in a tank. They all look the same. I doubt that this is really Snoke that we saw in this lab.

Didn't I mentioned this already in thread for the previous episode?

 

Is it me or is Season 2 Greef Karga practically a completely different character than Season 1 Greef Karga, with only the name and actor in common?

S2 Greef is like "Grr, these Imperials, get them off my planet, all of them!" and acts like he was always this way. S1 Greef didn't care at all about Werner Herzog and his stormtroopers, in fact the Mando seemed more concerned about them. S1 Greef gave a bored, "If these Imperials bother you so much, go call up the New Republic."

S1 Greef was the bounty hunter guild supervisor on Navarro. S2 Greef is basically the de facto mayor of Navarro's settlement and acts like he was always this way. He talks about cleaning up the town, building up a school, etc. ignoring the fact that his S1 self didn't seem to care at all about these things and in fact was the very reason for Navarro's corruption due to the bounty hunter guild presence that S1 Greef was leading.

Just how much time passed between Season 1 and Season 2?

 

I think they are mutating them, not cloning. If I interpret right what Dr. Purshing said the last volunteer died, so the experiment was a failure, and he also run out of force blood. I wander what kind of experiments they are running. If those black suites are dark troopers or something similar then probably they are mutating storm troopers into some new form of enhanced soldiers.

The ship is Arquitens-class command cruiser.

 

Yes he has grown into a governor of Nevarro.

One year approximately

Priorities change as the roles do. I think he is acting as a good ruler with a lot of bad experience on his back.

It looks totally different. Prosperity can be seen everywhere. Hopefully they will manage to preserve it that way. I wander what will the Moff do when he understands about the base. I don't think that he will let it go easily.

 

Moff Gideon will order a full scale orbital bombardment of Nevarro. Maybe they'll even have a 'Knights of the Old Republic' shoutout (I mean we already have Dark Troopers now).

Looks like dark troopers, the room looks like a freezer, so probably they are frozen waiting to be activated

 

looks more like dark troopers, but if they are infusing force things they are more like shadowtroopers, and of course they cant call them that

 

The scar is pretty much the same + "Snoke's" theme was playing during that scene.

 

I would say their troopers need a basic marksmanship training and hand to hand combat training before further enhancements. In the last two episodes they managed to score two times with their primary gun ( when shooting a man in the back ) and a few times with heavy repeating blaster from few meters distance. Pathetic! If they shoot like that it's no wander that they fall like leafs. What good does it make to convert those into cybernetic or force enhanced warriors?

If you play Snoke's theme and it isn't Snoke....that's certainly an odd choice to make.
If you heard Leia's theme but it had nothing to do with Leia that'd be odd.
If you heard the force theme but nothing to do with the force happened, that'd be odd.

Themes exist for a reason, for movie shorthand basically.

 

That's a good point.

It seems appropriate to wrap things up on Nevarro one more time before the next thing to come.

 

Imagine being on a road trip with your dad and you go to a town to see his cool friends and they're off to do something while bam
..you're sent to the local school for a day!

 

I had low expectations for this episode since last one was so good, I was thinking this one might be another "filler" episode. But this one was actually pretty good as well! Definitely better than I was expecting it to be. Hopefully next week is Ahsoka!
