I think an actor/actress should always get some degree of freedom regarding his/her character depiction. This is where the fun begins for alot of actors.

A good actor/actress will always make stand out his/her acting. Make the character his/her own.

If they wanted to make Ahsoka exactly like in Clone Wars or Rebels, then they could have picked any actress. But they wanted Rosario Dawson to do her thing. Giving Ahsoka yet another facet. Whether they succeed or not is debatable.

IMO they didn't, at least in terms of character development. Yes, looks wise it was freaking perfect, but character wise Ahsoka was a little bit too similar to her animated counter part... Kinda boring IMO. Almost a waste of screen time.

IMO they should have used Rosario Dawson more and let her play with the character instead of treating Ahsoka with kid gloves.

Don't get me wrong, the episode was good (not the best like so many people are saying), but I expected a little bit more bravery. Attempts were there though - Ahsoka being kinda like TLJ Luke, but it was dropped after a short periode of time.

    Still, this is the way.

I'm confused now... so that means Thrawn and Ezra are currently not missing?

I thought Filoni was hinting that chapter 13 takes place between when Ezra and Thrawn dipped with the space whales and the very end /reunion scene of Rebels...?

No, they were missing before EP4. The Rebels epilogue (time jump ahead) only shows Ahsoka and Sabine starting their search for him. Filoni is saying we don't know how long that time jump was.

She could have started her search with Sabine after Mando Ch13.

Yes. And if Luke and Leia are Jedi, then so are Ezra Bridger and Cal Kestis...

The old ways no longer exist. They may as well be people who hold special powers. The word "Jedi" and "Sith" for that matter are just titles now.

Are we talking canon or BTS reasons? BTS reasons were for stunt purposes.

We're in for one of the most epic space spaghetti westerns of all time with Robert Rodriguez of El Mariachi, Desperado, Once upon a time in Mexico, and From Dusk till Dawn fame!!!

Well it depends on what we're going off of. I know that she is no longer part of the Jedi order, but then again Luke was never in the order either and he is still a Jedi. I'm also aware that she has the line "I am no Jedi" in rebels, but in current events of mando, she is very clearly thinking of herself as a Jedi again. This is also just my opinion lol and I totally get that in all technicality she is no longer a Jedi and is just a force user.

Ahsoka Tano may no longer be a JEDI but she will forever be a warrior princess, it is in her blood, in her heart, and in her soul... a Warrior Nun fighting for the greater good of us all. She is continuing on her warrior path with or without the blessings of the Jedi Order Ahsoka is the hero of a thousand faces. She will burn evil or sith to a cinder!

I saw this somewhere else on the internet (can't remember where)...

Compare Clint's stance with Din in this fan art:

I've seen some fans throwing shade at the location of this episode. But personally I loved it.

I was expecting this to just be a basic forest planet like we've seen before. But instead we got a location that's visually fresh AND thematically resonant.

If you're paying attention to Morgan's backstory, and to little details like the constant billowing smokestacks behind the city, you realize that this planet is so desolate because of the industry of war.

The contrast is compounded by the fact that the only verdant, lively place is Morgan's own inner sanctum.

As soon as they defeat her, the factories are stopped and the skies begin to clear. The villagers are flying bright green flags.

It's a very Star Warsy message in the middle of this episode.

How cool would it be to see Din, last scene of the last episode of the entire series, to lift the helmet off, reach into his cape, pull a stogie out, light it, and squint into the camera...
