The Mandalorian S2E5 - Chapter 13: The Jedi

It was Anakin himself. Perhaps Grogu is Yoda and Yada kid and Anakin could not bring himself to kill him.

 

As the series is coming to an end, I would like to see 3 episodes of 50 minutes.

But while typing I just saw on IMDB the next one is only 32...?

Definetly this.

I want to see Tython and know more about ancient Jedi and the misteries around them, the temple and maybe discover a Jedi in the dark during that period. Also, see a connection with some of the old books appeared in ST or Grogu taking some hard decisions.

 

I want to see reverse flow ice waterfalls, floating-rock-art and suspension-less bridges created by the inspired Jedi Masters of old... so grand, exotic & inexplicable that normies / plebs have avoided it for over a thousand years.

 

I really love the Mandalorian and this season I started to do review videos - what else to do in isolation . Here the one for last week's episode (The Jedi).

I forgot to mention that once again the dialogue mentions the fact that Jedi and Mandalorians are "ancient enemies". I strongly believe we are going to get some sort of series or movies that deal with the wars between the Mandos and the Jedi.

 

Grogu is the most funny name they could possibly find. Yet it suits him good. I like the episode too, some great action, as you said lightsabers and the long waitind Ahsoka. Great episode!

She did not die -- which is good. We're to assume that she was imprisoned.

The actress who played her was great. She was one of the best villains we've seen in the series so it would be fun to see her make a return appearance in the future.

 

She is partying next to Mace Windu right now.

 

Morgan Elsbeth is a cool name

 

Diana Lee Inosanto, the actress who played the character, is the daughter of martial arts legend, Dan Inosanto and the Goddaughter of the film martial arts star, Bruce Lee.

She made such an impressive female villain, I hope we see her again in the Star Wars TV universe.

 

Yes I remember reading that somewhere, pretty cool!

 

A couple of takes on NinjaRen's post:
1) Fans expected -- and got -- a alive-action Ahsoka who was similar to her animated self. The biggest change was, naturally, her growing maturity which, IMHO, was played perfectly; and
2) Even if Filoni and Dawson wanted to begin 'doing something different' with the character, it would need to evolve over time in her own series and not in one, 40-minute guest appearance.

As we learned in TLJ, radically changing the personality of a beloved character's personality might feel perfectly natural 40 years in the future. But in storytelling, it's incredibly jolting to a feature film audience who fondly remembers the character's 'old self' and hasn't been privy to the 40 years of evolution that's taken place.

 

I didn't find Dawson's performance to be all that dazzling. It felt a bit inert. Dull almost. It was decent enough though. If Ahsoka in the animated series was kinda boring then Rosario's appearance didn't subvert that aspect of her character too much, as far as I could see.

 

Okie dokie!

Weirdly, it would appear that Dawson's 'dullish,' live-action performance as Ahsoka prompted Disney / LucasFilm to greenlight her very own TV series.
