While I miss Ashley Eckstein's voice, I do like Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka. :) I feel like both her and Bo-Katan were just about perfectly cast.

    What! Great attention to detail!
I'd be disappointed if we don't see this guy play Ezra tbh, he looks perfect, I tells you.

That would be amazing as Jedi: Fallen Order is a great game with great characters! Cameron Monaghan provided his likeness and voice plus did mo-cap and so might as well cast him in live action for the role

Yes, and he's a "real" actor too, not just a voice actor, so it could work from a practical perspective.

Agree with the majority, what a fantastic episode...

The opening of the episode was epic and simply perfect. That Ahsoka reveal in the mist of a dead forest
Fantastic. Rosario Dawson's portrayal of Ahsoka was perfect too, she got the mannerisms, the movements, the facial expression and the body language absolutely spot on; even the small details. Really blew me away as I wasn't expecting it to be that good. The world building was great, Corvus looked like a very eery devastated planet, very atmospheric and moody. So was the town. Seems like some catastrophic event happened there on Corvus at some point as it was supposed to be a "forest planet", apparently? The action and fighting scenes were a joy to watch. That final fight in the garden against the Magistrate was also very cool, nice to see them give another nod to the Samurai movies, and at the same time show Mando and Corporal Hicks (hehe) have a westernesque standoff outside of the garden gates; that's a very cool way to pay homage to Star Wars biggest original influences.

So we finally get some backstory of the Child...I mean, Grogu - what kind of name is that :D It was time for him to be given some character development, and him being previously trained at the Jedi temple at Coruscant, then being saved by someone during the Order 66 (I wonder who that was?), and spending all those years in fear and hiding until Mando found him makes him more than just a cute puppet for comedic relief. It was always clear that Ahsoka would not train him, but it was great to hear her explanation; you could see her pain when she referred to Anakin and his downfall. Yoda's name dropping too, and then his theme playing shortly...

The biggest wow for me was Thrawn's name being mentioned - I was hoping for him to be the main villain in the show ever since it started, but I thought it's unrealistic, so was very surprised to find out that The Magistrate's "Master" was the Grand Admiral and that Ahsoka is still looking for him and Ezra! Still, I don't think we'll get to see him in the series - I take it this was a hint at either a sequel for the Rebels or at a spinoff Ahsoka/Sabine/Ezra/Thrawn live action series? I think it's the latter and we won't see much of any of them in The Mandalorian.

Tython as the next planet to visit also got me very excited! The legendary home planet of the Jedi with one of the first Jedi temples ever  I wonder which path the Child will take, and whether we'll get another Jedi to turn up. If yes, then Ezra Bridge is probably very likely, but as mentioned above I personally hope they do not dive into that storyline too much and rather leave it for the next upcoming animated/live action show. Who else could it be? Luke? Probably unlikely, and I'm unsure how they could pull it off. Kal Cestis, maybe? Or a completely new Jedi character introduced?

Also, how cool were the HK droids?

In short, I love it more and more with each episode.

I keep trying to imagine Grogu being at the jedi temple on Coruscant with the masters and can already see Yoda being like "do, there is no try!" while Grogu tries to decide which hand to use for like 5 minutes

You know the person who (forgot her name) played Bo Katan was also the same voice actor in the Clone Wars right? All these voice actors are more then capable of acting live action. It's more or less down to how they look.

Yes, I know Katee Sackhoff is a "real" actor too. But you can be a voice actor without being a live actor and likely vice versa.

It just occurred to me that, as far as we're aware so far, Ahsoka has never actually met Grand Admiral Thrawn (unless it's revealed otherwise in the future).

Those are the ones we know of. (I guess Cal's mentor Cere could still be around, but she'd be very old.) It's possible that somehow someone else survived Order 66 and avoided Inquisitors all these years...

But there are also likely other kinds of Force users out there too (Bendu? Merrin [a night sister]? people from other galaxies that have moved into the GFFA?). I kind of doubt we will get into those murky waters though.

No rudeness taken. I was tired and was off in the time frame, even more so to be blunt it had little to due with the time frame from my persepctive and more to do with the butchery of Snips. She had no sarcastic girl next door vibe at all. The character was flat and the playfulness that was Ahsoka was gone. Older or not this was a fundamental character trait of Ahsoka imo. Its an opinion, further more it led to a very big issue to me. The writers not Dawson, but her delivery made it worse, in establishing Grogu's "fear" due to attachment; Ahsoka showed massive fear of what he could become because "she had seen it happen to fully trained Jedi". The level of fear in that statement is not an Ahsoka behavior. Again its all my personal opinion, but I feel like this Ahsoka is a watered down version of what could of been.

Jacen Syndulla is also not likely to fill the “Jedi” role but would be fun to see in live action in this timeline.

Have to disagree. Look at the situation....just how “playful” could she be considering she is on a blasted wasteland of a planet trying to figure out how to save people from being slaughtered?

Oh yes! It would be interesting to see if he "inherited" any FS from his dad. ;)

There's also speculation/rumours of Quinlan Vos surving order 66 and going into exile during the reign of the empire, which I'd love to be true but I doubt it.

I did hear a whisper of that somewhere. That would be cool to see him live somewhere other than in the background in TPM. ;)
