I feel like I really could need a fill on everything there is to know about the Mandalorians in the New Canon. I learned just the other day that Satine was the Duchess of Mandalore  looks like I don't know blast about the Mandalorians! So make this a fact thread- about the Mandalorians in the New Canon and keep the discussion and speculation to the other threads please.

Before we get started: Jango and Boba Fett aren't Mandalorians. But Boba was referred and even feared as a Mandalorian successor in the OT.

The Mandalorians are known as warrior race, but they weren't always warriors. The Mandalorians are a human culture with a huge understanding of honor. Their civilization is one of the oldest in the Star Wars Galaxy. They are fearsome people who live a life of war and conquest.

The Mandos are infamous for their armor - which originated on the planet Mandalore in the Outer Rim of the galaxy - , their Jetpacks and for the dark saber. With those dark sabers they could even go toe-toe against a Jedi.

The Jedi actually wanted to stop the Mandalorians because they became very dangerous conquerors.

Star Wars Explained also made a pretty informative video about the (canon) history of the Mandalorians:

The Mandalorians' story almost feels like "Game Of Thrones". A lot of houses and clans.
