The Map that leads to Luke Skywalker contains a "yellow brick road". Match this up with the known map of the galaxy that we have in the new canon.

Luke Skywalker is on Rakata Prime, in the Unknown Regions. That's HUGE in itself.

What's even bigger? Before he gets to Rakata Prime, he stops on Jakku.

Have a look & let me know if you agree!

Rakata Prime, also known as The Unknown World, Rakata, & Lehon, was also a planet in the EU. Wookiepedia describes it as such:

"Lehon was a tropical world that inhabited a remote and relatively unknown corner of the galaxy known as the Tempered Wastes, a largely void area of space. Its surface was largely covered by oceanswhich were dotted by numerous clusters of islands and archipelagos. It was the only habitable planet in the Lehon system, but it shared anorbit around its primary star with the Star Forge, an ancient Rakatanspace station and factory which drew its fuel directly from the system's primary star. The planet itself was orbited by two small moons, but one of them was close enough to be visible from the surface during daylight, covering a significant portion of the sky."

Sort of sounds like what we saw of the planet Luke is on, huh?

Yea so Pablo Hidalgo from the Lucas Film Story group tweeted just a little while ago that LUKE IS NOT ON RAKATA PRIME and that the location was only place on the map basically for filler. The planet Luke is on does not have a name yet and we will probably have to wait for Episode 8 to find out what it is.

If it was Rakata Prime, I doubt they would own up to it as they are trying to keep the mystery going. From the second I saw the first map fragment I told my wife that I knew where Luke was. Then at the end he is on a planet that certainly fits the description of Rakata Prime. And I am replaying KOTOR now and Rakata Prime is located on the star map there in pretty much the same place that the mark shows Luke at. Maybe everyone is overthinking it, but I tend to not believe when people in the movie industry says stuff about things they are trying to keep secret. And JJ Abrams was involved and he believes in keeping secrets.

If they're hiding that Luke's planet is Rakata Prime, why didn't the map say "Luke's planet" instead of "Rakata Prime?" Also, I don't think they're following the EU because they said that Luke went looking for the First Jedi Temple, but in the EU the Jedi began on Tython, a planet in the Deep Core.

Anyway, for those unfamilar with Rakata Prime, it's the final planet in KOTOR, where it was simply called "Star Forge Planet" and "Unknown World". As KOTOR explains, it's the homeworld of the Rakata, the race that built the Star Forge. Because of this, reference books often call it "Rakata Prime." The Darth Bane trilogy revealed that it's name is in fact, "Lehon."

If they were trying to hide the fact that it was Rakata Prime they just wouldnt have responded to that tweet. And as it is the script that was posted everywhere had the name in it and it wasnt Rakata Prime.

It's not Rakata Prime; it has been confirmed by Pablo to be Ahch-To.
