    I’m amazed that an obscure book character played a main role in an episode of a live-action Star Wars show. It says a lot about how great Star Wars is right now.

    That's one of the many reasons the MCU is so great!!! Favreau is following Feige's lead. Not everything in the books is good, but if you extract the good and adapt it to the screen it's magic. I've already gone back re-read all the Tatooine interlude chapters in the Aftermath trilogy.
