Here are a couple good videos of the world's finest Air Superiority fighter, the F-15 Eagle. The Eagle has a record of 104 air-to-air kills with zero losses in its entire history, across all countries that fly it. That is 104 to 0.

I was fortunate to have spent an assignment as the Maintenance Officer in the 44th Fighter Squadron at Kadena Air Base, Okinawa.....they fly F-15C/D. Got a chance to see these mighty jets maintained by the best maintainers anywhere, also saw many night afterburner takeoffs (2nd video)

Around the 2:15 mark listen...jet fuel starter engaged to start the engines....sounds a lot like the X/Y Wing prep scene at Yavin-4 before the Death Star assault!

Here is an incredible look at 2 F-15Es doing a night afterburner takeoff at RAF Lakenheath, England. F-15Es have the latest version of the F100-229 engine , about 29,000 pounds of thrust each in full afterburner.

Nice videos. I have cousins who live near there so they get to see there flyovers quite regular plus the RAF Typhoons.
Plus I got to watch what I think was a C130 fly over at about 100ft & dam is that a big plan & it seamed to be going so flying so slowly.

The Air National Guard Wing near me recently upgraded from F-16's to F-15's. I was used to hearing the Falcons flying around, the Eagles are a lot louder and meaner. :)
