    When Kylo Ren froze the blaster bolt in mid-air.....you just knew that something important was happening, something dangerous, psychotic, evil - there was weight to the film, weight not felt since Luke exited that AT-AT on Endor to meet Vader (other than a couple moments in ROTS).

    For me, it started with Poe's initial interaction with BB8 and then once he sassed Kylo Ren, I breathed a big sigh of relief and settled in.

    I remember my good friend and co-worker surprised me in the theater after she read the TPM crawl, she said, THATS IT? I knew something was WRONG ( I felt bad for my boss though he bought tickets for the entire staff. He ended up selling all his Star Wars toys on eBay ) by her reaction, but not knocking TPM, it has great bits. Anywho, once the Stormtroopers ran off the ramps in TFA I was ready for the ride.
