I think this is the ideal scenario, now that the Lions will be without Cooter next year. I'm sure Gase will draw interest as a head coach from several teams... it would be great if he decided that the situation in Detroit was better for him at the moment. Though, it may only last for a year or two.

I still expect there to be interest in Cooter around the league, I am hoping that we haven't heard the last of him yet. Maybe just a QB coach again, then he works himself back into an OC position. For the first year and a half Cooter was amazing in Detroit, unfortunately it all just suddenly dropped off.

What's crazy is that we were another Browns first down and a FG away from talking about this in the middle of a Steelers playoff run. And if this is all coming out, imagine all the things that we don't know about.

I didn't think Tomlin would be losing his job this year, but after all this, if I was the Steelers ownership I would be taking a loooonnng hard look at the state of the team. Cleaning house in light of all this would seem mighty tempting.

I'm using this the next time me and my girlfriend have an argument.
Ben's always been like that though. He wants everything his way. He just won't take no for an answer. The Steelers perform better with him at the helm compared to Dobbs and probably Mason but his poor leadership coupled with Tomlin being a doormat and player coddler is what made the locker room so volatile.

Juju and Conner seem like good people. If the ownership and FO is smart they'll build the next generation around them.

Couldn't agree more. The time is ripe for a face-lift for that whole team.

    Allegedly.

But seriously though. This has gotta be the biggest locker room meltdown in recent memory.

Wow, how did I miss this? Thanks for making my day.

I never thought he'd get a nod this season in terms of awards, to be honest - but zero interceptions in December is quite remarkable, considering that he isn't really throwing a lot less than the other rookies as the eye-test or his rushing stats would let you believe. Jackson and both of our tight ends are definitely starting to feel like Ozzie hit it big on his final draft.

Andrews leads the grades among the rookie tight ends, and is actually a top five tight end overall - with Hayden Hurst being fourth among rookies, and more of a diligent blocking tight end.

It's fresh from the oven so maybe you didn't get the chance to miss it yet!

I saw it just now and went to post in the NFL thread and that's how I saw you put out the next ORPA update actually.

I just wanna say I find it so funny how the Colts are nabbing defensive awards and the Ravens are nabbing offensive awards and fans of the 2 teams are congratulating one another.

    Weird times.

So we got the Colts - Texans on deck first today... How are you doing, @Capt. Andrew Luck? Big playoff party at base camp, or just keeping it chill in your own private quarters? Gotta be a great feeling to see your team back in the post-season. Man I wish that game was in Indy... that place would be rocking!

I'm a nervous wreck. In my private quarters keeping it chill. This is the 1st time 2 AFC South teams face off in the post season and let's be honest here the outcome of this is gonna set some hard precedents.

I have faith but the Colts fan in me feels pessimistic. The Texans are legit.

I am absolutely relishing this right now knowing full well how we can royally mess this up in no time.

You guys are dreadfully scary, but thank you for beating the Texans. If we beat the Chargers tomorrow, I'd rather face the Patriots than the Chiefs. Both are terrible against the run, but their offense doesn't have an edge like Kansas City does.

Nice win, Colts!!! Congrats @Capt. Andrew Luck, 1 down, 3 to go!

I just realized the Seahawks @ Cowboys are up next.... a little disappointed, all day I had been thinking it was @teline's Bears against the defending champions.

@TheBBP I'm calling you out of exile for the playoffs... are you feeling the upset in Dallas tonight for your Hawks??

See you guys in the AFCCG. I'm looking forward to that match up. I think we're the 2 most balanced teams in our conference for sure and that travels in the post season.

I have a felling the 2 games tonight are going to be super close maybe even extra time :D.

Actually I have a question how do they decide who wins if no one scores after the first part of extra time do they keep playing till someone scores or do the teams have to kick field goals to decides who wins. Ok so that’s probably not going to happen but boy would it be fun to see non kickers trying to kick a field goal. :p.

Dammit RAVENS what are you doing the end zone is the other way :p.
