I have no idea if this is sustainable and I sincerely doubt it, but damn it if I'm not going to ride the hype for as long as I can.

Here's Baldy breaking down Jackson's performance against the Dolphins. Really puts the emphasis on how valuable Hollywood is to this emergent Ravens offense.

6,000+ yards and 80 TD's, here we come!!
    :D

Seriously though, when the norm is teams going after certain players that fit their system, it's very refreshing to see the Ravens tailoring an entire offense to the players and skills that they have. I know this happens to some degree everywhere, but this seems pretty ambitious and unprecedented. And it's actually working.

I'm just glad all this excitement has swept our embarrassing loss on Thursday under the rug.

Speaking of embarrassment, the Saints don't look so hot against that Houston defense.

I turned it on right before that amazing finish, and I still can't believe what I saw.

I saw this ~7 hours ago. Wondered if I should even post it here. These are the messages Antonio Brown sent the accuser (warning: strong language).

Some legal info: the law firm Emery Celli does NOT mess around. They are absolute all-stars and are in the very top tier of the profession. If they took this case then I will bet anything that it has merit.

Law firms will often contract with a local attorney in order to get waived into a court where they're not barred. This case is being driven by a named partner at Emery Celli in NY, not whoever signed the complaint from FL. They're a successful, sophisticated firm nationally renowned for their public interest work, and they wouldn't jeopardize that reputation for a money grab in the New York Times.

So what I'm trying to say is AB will most likely not make it through the season.

The guy very clearly has issues with authority / not getting his way. Think about all the things we know -- the scary part is the unknown. If the allegations are true, I hope the league does the right thing and stops giving this lunatic second chances.

    Sorry to disappoint you then.
I honestly am not surprised at all by this. It's a civil lawsuit vs. a criminal one and the NFL is so random when it comes to meeting out punishment that they might as well just spin a wheel.

What a way to close out the game! I loved what I saw from Kyler Murray, their entire wide receiver squad, and that suffocating defense. NFC West seems like it'll be the division with no actual weak teams. It's rather quite frightening how prepared and poised Murray feels playing in the NFL after starting Week 1 against a formidable Lions defense, only to follow it up by throwing over 300 yards to the best secondary in the AFC.

Anyone else starting to get sad seeing the 'old guard' of QBs clearly towards the end of their days?

Brees, Big Ben and Eli all might be done after 2019 and Rivers isn’t too far off. Even seeing Luck and Cam retire/completely fall off is depressing.

It’s just not gonna be the same watching with all young guys (and Brady) at QB. I know people probably said the same thing around 2000 when Marino, Young and Elway left and look how that turned out. But it’s still sad as hell.

All of that history just gone. A little of it already left with Peyton but now it’s about to leave in a massive drove.
Wow... You cannot defend against a perfect throw like that!

How did Jackson look otherwise in the game? It looks like the Cardinals put up a fight.
I caught the final minutes of that game and everything from the Broncos 2pt conversion to XP attempt to 2pt conversion thing, to the Bears last second time out reevaluation to long kick finisher was the weirdest string of events in an NFL game I ever saw.

    Point differentials after Week 2.

New England skipped its September woes and went straight to January form.

That was a crazy sequence of events. To score the potentially tying TD, then instead to go for 2 for the win, then have the penalty that forces them back and to kick the XP, then that penalty (which happened when he missed the XP), which led to another chance at going for 2, which was ultimately successful...

And it all meant nothing because the Bears finally have a kicker!

No, I take that back -- Without this early-season defining moment for Pineiro, the Bears FG unit still has a monkey on their collective back. So, congrats on getting that off, @teline!

He looked just as explosive as in Week 1, amounting for 400 yards of offense on his own, but the pressure from the Cardinals on key plays made him overthrow Mark Andrews three times, two of which would have resulted in touchdowns. Statistically, he is the best quarterback in the league this season with a 145.2 RATE, with Patrick Mahomes and Dak Prescott trailing close.

According to this, San Francisco is the best team in the NFC - and if I'm being honest, with Drew Brees out for the Saints, it feels like they could easily go toe-to-toe against the Cowboys, Rams and Packers and prove that statement right.

Edit: To follow up on your post, here's also a rundown of the top ten leading teams in offense and defense through both weeks.

Rewind the clock to June and imagine someone told you that Gardner Minshew, Teddy Bridgewater, Mason Rudolph, Trevor Siemian, and Jacoby Brissett were all starters in week 3.
We have a special teams that works!
Unfortunately our offense is now broke. I still want to believe Trubs is gonna become our franchise quarterback, but stats like these are starting to put some worrying doubts in my mind... especially with guys like Lamar, Dak and Mahomes putting up crazy numbers. :(
