Bears have gained first downs on 17/77 (22.1%) of their pass plays, good for 31st in the league. Let's hope that changes after tonight!

Seriously, Blast the point. Even if you take away the accusations, the guy threatened the actual victim and her kids by siccing his posse at them and NOW he tries to take a moral high ground.

Should the NFL be harsher and more consistent with their punishments? Yes. Is he the right person to say that? Hell no.

Anything he says is tainted after what he did.
    Hahaha, never change Philly!

He should be cut, hell thrown in jail. I'm just saying he isn't wrong that the NFL is inconsistent.

Ha Ha Clinton-Dix with his second big haul of the night! Meanwhile, the highlight of the Redskins is this staff member stirring the Gatorade with cups.

Is this the best time in NFL history to be a minority QB? Look at the current leading passers:

    1. Patrick Mahomes (134.9 RTG)
    2. Dak Prescott (128.0 RTG)
    3. Russell Wilson (119.6 RTG)
    4. Tom Brady (116.5 RTG)
    5. Lamar Jackson (113.9 RTG)
    6. Jacoby Brissett (112.0 RTG)
    7. Gardner Minshew (110.6 RTG)
    8. Deshaun Watson (108.6 RTG)

That's 6/8. Exciting times and it really feels like a new era with all the new faces up here. This post is also 100% not a poorly disguised JACOBY WILL LEAD US TO THE PROMISED LAND. Nope.

Damn, I had no idea the AFC South was so stacked with quarterback talent. I think even Mariota is having a decent season, but sadly I don't think he was ever in a position to truly succeed in Tennessee. He came into the league as one of the most prolific spread quarterbacks in college, but he came into the NFL to a team that was fielding only four wide receivers in the 53-man roster at the time. Fine. It's his rookie year on an extremely limited roster. The Titans will just build around it the next year, right?

Wrong. Rather than take a stab at building their franchise around this young, mobile, spread quarterback, the franchise hires Mike Mularkey. The Titans invest heavily in building a power running offense by drafting Jack Conklin and Derrick Henry. Rather than surrounding Marcus with talent that suits his skillset and strengths, the Titans field this slow, heavy set offense.

2017 rolls around, and I start watching football in a bigger capacity. The Titans finally take a stab at drafting a couple receivers in the first three rounds in Corey Davis and Taywan Taylor. Despite this, Mularkey runs the same offense he's run the last year. One not up to Mariota's strengths. The Titans stumble into the playoffs and win a game on Mariota and Henry heroics out of - primarily - a spread offense.

The Titans wisely move on from Mularkey and have a chance to build around their quarterback instead of their running backs again. What do they do? Rather than making an attempt to nab someone from a team that runs an offense that Mariota thrived with in college, like John DeFilippo, they take Matt LaFleur, a McVay underling, to build another condensed offense which features the quarterback under center with tons of play action, and highly dependent on the success of the running back.

On top of that, they completely switched the blocking scheme to a zone blocking scheme which is the opposite of the skill sets of the powerful, slow-moving offensive linemen they had been drafting in previous years. Derrick Henry has a monster year, but the Titans now have this muddled roster which has been built for a variety of different purposes, with a scheme change right in the middle of it. The Titans implode as the season progresses and 2018 becomes a lost season.

2019 rolls around and LaFleur is gone. The Titans have a chance once again to at least attempt - just for once, just for this last opportunity - to build an offense around its quarterback. They hire Mularkey's tight end coach.

You see Mahomes, Murray and Jackson running spread offenses built around their skillsets and even if, for some reason, these three don't pan out in the end - at least their teams will know why. The Titans will never find out if Mariota is supposed to be good, because they never gave him a chance.

@Capt. Andrew Luck, looks like you got your wish for Burfict. Between Antonio Brown and Vontaze Burfict, who knew Richie Incognito would be the reasonable one on the Raiders roster?

A Ravens team with a top overall offense, but a bottom ten defense. Ironic.

Thursday Night Football is now airing on Amazon Prime (free for Prime members) for anyone who may not have access otherwise!

Seattle is wearing their lime green unis too if you don't have enough neon in your life currently.

She plays God in Dogma, which is possibly my favorite Kevin Smith movie.
I unironically love those terrible, terrible uniforms. Speaking of...
