As long as you are fast. And elusive. And can take a hit from someone who likely has another foot in height and 100lbs on you.

 

That’s a check on the Elusiveness but not so much on the speed .

As for taking the hit well I guess my one & only pay check would go on my hospital stay after taking said hit.

Well the Washington Vs Miami game is living up to its reputation as they have put on 46 Yards combined in the First Quarter.

This was mentioned by an announcer last night: Trey Flowers, the highest paid player in free agency, has never in his 5th year in the league (4 with New England, now with the Lions). He has never before been called for a "Hands to the Face" penalty in his career, until last night when he was called twice for them in the second half of the 4th quarter, when, conveniently, the Packers were on the ropes.

I guess I can take some solace in the fact that people are at least talking about this. I said to my friend after the game, "I know I sound like any other fan when I say the officials suck and stole that game, but come on... that was pathetic." I was shocked to see that starting with the SVP commentary that @teline linked that it was actually not just me and my assumed homer-ism.

 

That haul though.... 2 first round picks?!?

As a famous war hero smuggler once put it, "No cornerback is worth this!"

 

It's also worth keeping in mind that they traded him without a new deal in place. Meaning, if they don't get a deal done in the next 18 months and he leaves in free agency, that's 2 first round picks gone for nothing.

Surely the Rams are aware of that, but this means that Ramsey absolutely holds all the cards come negotiation time.
