I might have caught it but then got flattened by the QB, Fumbled the ball & so given it straight back to them.

I am not a athletic man either :D.

I would have picked it and ran the other way for the length of the field. Thereby getting the six AND the safety.

Not sure how to feel about this. It punishes the 2nd seed too much but it also will probably be appreciated by fans of bubble teams like the Buccaneers, Lions and Browns. I think those teams are gonna be trending up next season and this might help some of them get to the postseason.

Happy to see more teams getting a chance at the post season. Having an another play off round, or pre-qualifier, rather than simply shoehoring another team into the current wildcard round and dropping 2nd seed into it, would probably be fairer. But the when would you schedule the extra round games?

The theoretically easier route should still be the prize for the top two teams in each conference season. Doesn't seem right to hand it to just one team. Especially considering the regular/irregular seasons schedule.

Getting more teams in is great. But it should also come at a cost, and not to the second seed.

Marshawn Lynch is in the new Westworld trailer! We literally watched the dude play postseason football this year and now I'm gonna watch him act in an HBO show.

Decent game between TB Vipers and the Oilers, I mean Houston Roughnecks there in the XFL.

I thought DC looked good in their first two games but LA blew them away there in the third week of XFL.

Still looks like only two sides have QBs in this league. But it's still been fun to watch* since the NFL finished. And that atmosphere at LA was pretty cool the other night.

    (*the highlights - mainly)

Jets will go to a championship game at the end of this season. I know not nothing but next to it about football. But I just feel like calling it.

    I'm bored.

I could see it happen if Darnold makes a leap forward but I just don't trust Adam Gase as the guy to get them there. Ravens/Chiefs seems like the safest bet right now.

I hope the Ravens carry the football over the end zone line more than the opposing team does.

If this happens, I will be pleased, and I may even say: “Yes, that is good.”

So strange seeing Tom out and Cam in in New England, but after 1 week man does it ever look like it was the perfect landing spot for him.

Sophomore QBs were 3-0 last night. I wonder if Daniel Jones continues the streak...

    No. LMAO

But seriously, interesting week one. All teams in the NFC Least EXCEPT the team formerly known as the 'Skins lost? As a WFT fan, I was totally expecting us to lose that game (especially when we went down 17-0). But I didn't think the Cowboys would end up losing. The Giants, still not impressed with them.

I thought the Lions had the Bears, but I guess the Lions gotta Lion.

And anyone who wrote off Aaron Rogers... what were you thinking?

    The truth hurts. :(

Caught some of the TNF game between the Bengals and Browns... and wow. Both offenses were humming. Cleveland probably has the best backfielf in the NFL.
And Joe Burrow really impressed me. He was the only reason that game was as close as it was.

"Burrow dropped back to pass 64 times and was pressured on 32.8% of those drops, producing three sacks and a fumble lost. He could have been sacked much more often, though, if he didn't possess the ability to escape and extend the play or deliver timely passes before the rush arrived.

Amid the collapsing pocket, Burrow stood tall all night, identifying the open man and connecting with him. Cincinnati converted eight of 18 third-down attempts and was a perfect 5 for 5 on fourth down, a marvelous accomplishment in itself for a rookie passer."

Perhaps I am giving Zac Taylor too much credit, but despite some of his redzone playcalling being suspect last night, I think he's trying his best to not kill Burrow underneath that egregiously offensive offensive line. Lots of quick, short passes and conservative playcalling sprinkled with the occasional opportunistic deep throw. No one has any illusions about the Bengals being serious contenders this year, so I think for Taylor it's most important that he continues to develop Burrow while preserving his health. Maybe they'll win a few games along the way, maybe they'll not. Zac Taylor seems to have a solid grasp on clock management, at least, which is a very undervalued skill for a head coach to have - I think he and Burrow pair well in that regard.
