It's probably not his strongest material from an objective standpoint - with either Chasing Amy or Clerks pulling ahead, but I could always pop on Dogma and watch it all the way through. Amazing performances all around, from Rickman, to Damon and Affleck.

Getting back on-topic, the Packers walked away with a win after the offensive line of the Cowboys iced their own kicker in a game that should never have been that close to begin with. Penalties were horrid all day long for the games that I've watched, and this might be the first week where they've noticeably lessened my enjoyment of the game - which sadly, I think, says more about my own perseverance than the quality of the officiating crew.

I can't wait to hear all the talk on that Jason Garrett penalty.

PLEASE HOLD THE LEAD. PLEASE HOLD THE LEAD.
Strong agree on the officiating. I watched the Buccs game and Arians was literally turning the shade of Tampa Bay red with how angry the refs were making him. Luckily I rooted for the other guys but still...

Congratulations on holding the Chiefs to three points in the second half. I watched the game on replay this morning and one thing that struck out to me was how complete the Colts played. All three stages of the game were airtight. Offense, defense, special teams. I don't know what Vinatieri did, but he's back to his old self. It also made me realize something that I initially believed, but sadly got swept up in all the hype: the Ravens are rebuilding this year. Comparing your performance against the Chiefs to those of the Ravens two weeks prior couldn't have made it more clear to me.

Losing key personnel on defense - two of our best pass rushers, as well as the leaders of the secondary and the line - without replacing them with anyone should have been obvious. Earl Thomas is a nice consolation prize, but overall without Mosley and Weddle commanding the defense, the Ravens can no longer disguise coverage and confuse the quarterback in all those unique ways they did last year; and without Smith and Suggs, the line fails to generate even a shred of pressure on the passer. That's the reality of a depleted defensive roster.

Offense has playmakers with truly groundbreaking potential in Jackson, Andrews and Brown - as well as an amazing addition in Ingram - but the offensive line leaves much to be desired and our wide receivers are still an untested young corps - this makes all the difference between Watson's performance against the Falcons and Jackson's performance against the Steelers. Giving up five sacks while only getting one is embarrassing if you're Baltimore.

Don't expect much from the Ravens. They may well be 4-2 heading into the bye week and on top of the division, but the only way they're making the championship game this year is if they stumble ass-backwards into it with Jackson willing the team to victories or the defense stepping up for the big plays. They can't stop anything else - might as well just go for the big play all the time. It worked out well for Humphrey this week and was the main reason the Ravens walked out with a win.

Tip of the hat to the Colts and their coaches, that was game-planned to perfection. I think Collinsworth even made the comment "I didn't know this type of football existed anymore -- the Colts have run the ball as a team over 40 times now."

Mack is a freaking war horse. Hines is a magician in space (spin move x100) and they both have the luxury of running behind a killer O-Line. Also, this was the first I really got to sit down and watch Brissett. I think he played really well, love the poise, but what stood out to me most was the way he disguised play action fakes. Normally I can tell when QBs are running a fake, but not last night. Everyone sold each fake to perfection, and with the way they were already running the ball, it was just downright lethal.

The plan to keep Mahomes off the field couldn't have gone better: "The Colts dominated time of possession 37:15 to 22:45. The Chiefs barely had the ball in the second half, when the Colts ran 38 plays to their hosts' 19."

Though admittedly, the Chiefs did themselves no favors with the amount of penalties last night. (Indy should probably send Breeland a fruit basket or something, I think he was responsible for at least 4 flags / 4 Colts first downs).

All in all, really great game. Congrats Cap, you finished the job that my boys in Motown couldn't last week. Enjoy that W !!

One of my favorite Colts wins ever. Just a bunch of DUDES.

And I have nothing but love for your boys after you gave us the blueprints to beat Mahomes: pass coverage. It's funny how Patricia did the same with Goff last year and now the same thing to the reigning MVP.

    Funny you should mention that.

Dolphins are undefeated this week... unlike the Chiefs. Is this the end of KC's dynasty?

Baker just threw his second interception on 3rd & Goal. This is the defense against the Browns I wanted last Sunday!

I'm not ashamed to admit that as a Ravens fan, this game cures cancer.

My cousin went into this game with a 99% chance to win his fantasy game because the only player left to play was the QB and Baker only needs 8 points. He currently has -2 points and it’s a toss up.

I heard that mentioned during the game.. "It's the same thing that the Patriots and Lions did to the Rams last year." ... and I was like, woah woah woah. People remember the Lions? In a losing effort? And are mentioning them in the same breath as the Patriots' Super Bowl??!?"

    It gives me hope!

Not NFL related, but the upcoming XFL Draft is going to be sure to turn some heads with its format.

    https://www.foxbusiness.com/sports/xfl-2020-draft-details-date

    Of note:
    • (Starting) QB's won't be drafted, but rather the 8 teams will have QB's assigned to them.
    • The draft will be limited in stages by player position:
      • Phase 1 (10 Rounds): Skill Positions (other QB's, RBs, WRs, TEs)
      • Phase 2 (10 Rounds): Offensive Line (OT, OG, C)
      • Phase 3 (10 Rounds): Defensive Front Seven (DE, DT, LB)
      • Phase 4 (10 Rounds): Defensive Backfield (CB, S)
      • Phase 5 (30 Rounds): Open Draft - All Positions
    • Snake draft style (the team order reverses every round)
    • 90 seconds per pick, for every pick
So all in all, that's 560 players. Currently, they have a pool of about 400 announced, with the rest being announced on Friday Oct. 11th.
The draft itself happens next week on the 15th and 16th.

So, for anyone wishing to try their hand at professional football, the XFL needs bodies. And fast.
