Riverboat Ron is gone. Big changes incoming for the Panthers if they decide to also move on from Cam.

    Jameis Winston: 0/1, INT.

If you don't like that, you don't like Buccs football.

Ok so this is a new one apparently the Chiefs Kit got sent to New Jersey not New England  & if it hadn’t arrived in time for the game they would have had to forfeit the game. Thankfully the kit is now at Foxbourgh so the game can go ahead.
Also the Ravens play sheet got blown on to the pitch where a couple of Bills players managed to get a brief look before the ref got it off them :D.

The Dolphins have the right strategy. Can't steal out game plan if we don't have one!

This doesn't explain all of it but I saw this the other day and had a laugh... Josh McCown (QB) was pulled out of retirement by the Eagles, and things were so bad on Monday that they were prepping him to play receiver.

Via John Clark of NBCSportsPhiladelphia.com, McCown said that he was prepared to run some routes if need be, and was making the necessary equipment adjustments. "I was ready to go,” McCown said. “We had the helmet ready to go. The equipment guys were all over it. Had the radio-less helmet because you can’t have two green dots on the field at the same time. We were ready to roll. Shoot, I’d get in there and go. Obviously, as a quarterback, you know the offense.”

The Eagles entered the game with just three healthy wideouts, and finished with just one, after wide receivers Alshon Jeffery and J.J. Arcega-Whiteside left, Greg Ward was the last man standing.

“I’m not quite the option that J.J. is or Greg, obviously, but again, we were kind of up against it a little bit,” McCown said. “Just being able to have a contingency plan was the main thing. I was ready to roll.”

Apparently the game plan was to let the Jets kicker score 3 TDs on them! Well. 7 FG's, but same thing. :D

Gotta admit, I wasn't aware of the fact they were that desperate. Sheesh. If my 'skins lose to that outfit...

Just thinking out loud, but realistically speaking, what would Ryan Tannehill have to do to enter the MVP conversation over Lamar? I feel like the dude's been playing out of his mind lately. 73.4% completion percentage at 10.2 adjusted yards per attempt.

I'd peg him for something more along the lines of "comeback player of the year" ... I think they still have that award? It can be dual purpose, either injury related or career resurrecting. I actually don't remember how he went out with the Dolphins last year, but it might have been both injury and performance.

Adam Gase seems to have that effect...

Here's a comparison between the 2018 Jets offense and the 2019 Jets offense:

Wait until next year and put up the same numbers over sixteen games.

Tannehill has been an average to mediocre quarterback most of his career. There were times in Miami where he looked outstanding and put out outstanding performances and then there were times you wondered how in the world he convinced someone he could be a starting quarterback.

If anything, Tannehill is really just showing how bad Mariota is.
The weapons haven't changed (in fact they've lost Delanie Walker) so the Titans are even worse off.
Can confirm the award still exists. Source: Andrew Luck won it last year.

    ...then proceeded to retire. :(

I think this year it's either Garoppolo or Tannehill's to lose.

This is so heartbreaking for me to admit at this point. I loved Mariota at Oregon, and he is legitimately one of the best, most wholesome people off the field in the NFL, but yeah... it's obvious that he's broken.

Gosh, as much as I love Trubisky (warts and all) I would NOT be opposed to us signing Mariota and him balling the hell out in Nagy Ball 2.0.

We got another Jackson Five last night, but my favorite play of the night had to go when he completed a 36-yard pass on 4th and 1 from deep inside his own territory.

That entire postgame interview was extraordinary.

A perfect capstone to yet another perfect performance by the Baltimore Ravens offense. I still can't believe that the team known for bland offensive play has managed to field something so positively electrifying. Used to be a time where I couldn't wait to see the defense perform, but now? Now I can't wait for them to make the other team go three-and-out so I can watch more of Lamar Jackson tearing through NFL defenses.
