    I'm partial to McDonald's and Tim Hortons coffee myself, but I was curious to see what other people prefer.

    In the States it is awful. Tastes like rubbish, overpriced, and quality service is spotty.
    Surely it's not because there are fifteen stores around every corner... :rolleyes:

    I agree buddy they will do in a pinch but i have a ton of other local shops that i will hit first.

    Currently it has a nice wooden platform in front of it to have outdoor seating. I hope it can become a regular haunt of mine again someday soon.

    I named Starbucks, because it's the only Coffee House from the US that we have in Germany too. But I will stand by it- the Hot Chocolate and the Coffee taste decent, but it's way overpriced, I guess it's even more overpriced here than in America?

    I always enjoyed going there with my bff around Christmas, their Christmas decoration looks so nice xD and the music is better than what we are used to from most German Coffee Houses.

    What you heard is true, especially in Bavaria, with Austria as their direct neighbour.

    What a lovely place!

    It’s ok in the U.K. I find the coffee a bit weak but then the use aa lot more milk then I prefer. I prefer to use independent coffee shops ( Lucky I have found 2 really good ones which I’m really looking forward to getting back too at some point :() if I do use a chain then my for me it’s Caffè Nero in the U.K. as they use a stronger coffee & don’t add so much milk to their cappuccino.

    See, even a tea drinker like @Addi Ras knows his beans... Caffe Nero is the best of the coffee chains in the UK, unfortunately though they're in real financial trouble thanks to lockdowns and lack of footfall.

    There's a good number of decent independents around too - Southsea Coffee Co. near me does great stuff, as does Coffee #1. My favourite is the nuclear grade stuff at an ace little Turkish coffee bar in St. Katharine Docks, next to Tower Bridge in London.

    YOu've just not had the GOOD stuff yet ;)

    Coffee? Make way! Make way! The Norwegian is coming!

    Coffee is a pretty important part of life in Norway, and we consume a whopping 10kg of the stuff per person annually, making us the second largest consumer per capita in the world. Only the Finns are more insane than us, consuming an incredible 12kg of pure coffee beans per person per year... No wonder they're such a great country, right? :D

    Americans, by comparison, consumes a measly 4,5kg per capita; and Britons? 1,7kg bah! :p

    Bragging aside, I like most variations of coffee, and am also known to indulge in "girly" Pumpkin Lattes and such from time to time, but my true love is filtered black coffee (no sweetener) of a well-rounded, "ordinary" blend. The local Friele brand of coffee is my go-to, everyday drink.
