    it’s one of the main reasons I like the Finns (and Finland) so much :D

    when I worked there the company paid for the coffee and the filter machine was permanently loaded and running. As far as employee overheads go, I swear the coffee habit cost more than the electric!

    Also, I forgot to mention that no matter the type of coffee, the most important factor for me is that the brew is hellishly hot! I don't do no lukewarm coffee! I always pre-heat my cup (and coffee pot) with boiling water before pouring in fresh (i.e. as hot as possible) coffee :D

    What about Sweden with their famous Fika (Coffee Break)? They must be close or at least in the top five?

    Five Guys opened here about two years ago? I hope there is a chance that Caffe Nero follows up sometime. But with Corona this is not going to happen anytime soon, I guess.

    Yeah, the Swedes aren't bad either, drinking on average 8,2kg worth of coffee beans a year.

    On average, Europeans consume about 5,1kg, with the Germans clocking in at 5,4kg

    It might be a little more overpriced here. Or least, the ratio from quality to price isn't worth it.
    I would usually order a cappuccino, and when it's over $3, I would expect it to not be watered down and to be something a little above lukewarm.
    But maybe that's just my Scottish heritage leaking through and making me stingy. :p
    It is! And they make a good cappuccino!
    Nothing beats a proper cup of coffee. I usually prefer a medium to dark roast, and for the coffee itself to be good.

    Not the very first place you would think of, BUT this one guy in Freistadt, Upper Austria, is one of the greatest coffee experts I've met so far..

    Just a few months ago we've been to Trieste in Italy where they have a very well known Coffee barista academy (illy). I've tried both and I have to say I would prefer the "Freistadt" coffee blend any time compared to the original illy espresso in Trieste.
