I'd like to eventually move there.
    Well...Austria or Switzerland. Either, really.

    Cheers,
    Jayson

There some nice places to visit @Jayson.
If you prefer City trips, there are not only the classical locations like Salzburg, Vienna and Zurich.
Maybe try Basel, Graz and Bregenz instead :)
Great coffee houses, good food and great landscape or lakes nearby.
The Mountains are maybe a bit more impressive in Switzerland though. If you're also a lover of great wine, you could enjoy the East and Southeast (Burgenland and Styria) a lot.
So much to see on either side of the Atlantic :D

The French part of Switzerland? You're Canadian, right?

    I wish I was Canadian.
I'm Alaskan, which consequently means I'm American (but the only thing I actually truly like about America is the arts...and some food...everything else...yeah, not so much).

But being Alaskan is a weird half-in-half-out sort of relationship with America.
It's like being Canadian if Canada were in Kentucky (hard right wing rural mindsets - often a bit ornery, and middle finger to government...or being told what to do).
I actually nickname Alaska, "North Kentucky".

But then...imagine Kentucky had a bunch of people from Portland, Oregon or Washington State move there (liberal art-loving folks).

I'm not picky on language. I'm slacking. Everyone else in the house speaks French to varying levels (both daughters are learning it, my Wife speaks it pretty well).
I need to kick myself in the pants at some point and get back on the horse.

    Cheers,
    Jayson

So today’s Cappuccino was made using Nespresso Amaretto flavoured blend. Now I’m not a big fan of flavoured coffee but this actually smells like amaretto which is nice unfortunately it doesn’t really taste of anything :(. Maybe this would be better of as just a black coffee.
Oh well at least I know to avoid this one in future

No risk no fun! That cookie looks nice! Is it homemade? We haven't baked any cookies this year.

Mince Pie is a sort of cookie you can hardly find here in the supermarkets...yet. I don't know why xD we have a lot of cookies with sugar frosting and chocolate on top and filled on with marmelade, but Mince Pie have raisins in the filling, right?

Yes they do have found a recipe for you to try out for next year.
    https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/traditional-mincemeat

Mincemeat certainly seems to be a rather British thing & doesn’t seemed to be that common on the content or the U.S.

Thank you! @NinjaRen doesn't like raisins so that recipe have to be modified... somehow... I don't know what a good substitute would be xD

I had a nice strawberry kolache this morning with my coffee. A very nice treat today and made my coffee a little more enjoyable.
