    Kelly plays the best friend to the main girl.

    I'm starting to wonder if either her character or Laura Dern's are survivors from the Hosnian Prime 5 worlds. (i. e. They were off planet at the time.)

    Usually in stories where a world blows up, there are aftermath stories about a survivor. Like Superman and Krypton or Leia and Alderaan.

    Going by previous instagrams of Kelly with that trainer and Jennifer Li's instagram connection with Chloe Bruce, I'd say you are correct on both counts.

    I dont think the actress(Jessica Henwick) that plays Jess Testor is even in Episode VIII. She's been busy in New York filming as Colleen Wing in Iron Fist for Netflix. And then the Defenders after that.

    And if you know Colleen Wing from comics, then you'd be like me and can't wait to see the Daughters of the Dragon.

When I read your comment my first thought went to Dr. Aphra and even potentially to Sabine. 50/50 on the idea, but probably not (it'd be cool to see a generational character/someone who's connected to a character we've already met and kind of rewards viewers outside the movies (like Saw Gerrera), but having KMT's character be related to other Space Asian character might make her fall into the pit Finn almost fell into. And it makes the galaxy smaller).

    She's the only actor we know for sure who was there for the last week of filming. We know that Carrie, Mark, Anthony Daniels, John, Adam, Lupita and Daisy were done filming before the last week.

    Status unknown for last week:
    Gwendoline, Oscar, Domnhall, Laura Dern, Del Toro, Serkis and Chewbacca.

    Leia is (at least spelling-wise). I don't know, "Rose" is just so... Earth-y. She's named after a flower that grows on Earth. Sure, maybe there are roses in the Star Wars galaxy, but it doesn't really sound right to me.

    They could have done what they did with "Leah" and changed the spelling. "Roze"?
