maybe the wording confused me but i thought her literal biological sister was cast too in a smaller role.

No, it's the two character's who are siblings.

 

I'm glad to hear Rose comes in with her sister : this suggest she will have her own arc, and won't be just a foil or underdevelopped love interest for someone else.

Really hope it doesn't happen. Rose & Paige gives us the opportunity to have a nice & heartwarming family reunion, for a change. Why ruin that ? I mean, even if the story requires Paige to be brought down at some point, why kill her when she could just be wounded instead ?

Besides, a "Tico Sisters Tandem" has so much potential for future side materials. It would be a shame to pass on that.

So, can we keep them both ? Pleeeeeeeeaase ...

look like they could be sisters at all.

 

They can be half sisters lol dont think it really matters.

 

I was just thinking...
maybe Paige is a double agent (and the double agent some spoilers tolked about) or she's the one that understands someone else is a double agent. In the latter case, she dies, in the first she doesn't die but disappears at the beginning of the movie, soon after of before the FO attack...
In both cases, that's what puts together Finn and Rose.They will follow her traces to find out what happened to her and why...Untill they find DJ.
This kind of plot may also work as a mirror (and reversed) dynamics of that Obi Wan/Jango and Boba Fett in ep. II hich is also instrumental in that movie to reach Count Dooku on Genosis.

 

They don't have to be identical to be sisters though...
