    The 4Chan Q&A thing was absolute BS. I think the script leak and the OTOY discussion was probably real, though.

    Evidently Kinberg was there agreeing with everything he said but who knows that could've been just a save my ass kinda thing. ai'm not familiar with the script leak though.

    It was for two rough drafts of the movie. It sounds like they've changed a lot.

    In general, Fantastic Four sounds like a massive mess. I go between pitying Josh Trank and Simon Kinberg for what happened and being mad at them for not handling the movie better rather frequently. I really hope they work out a deal with Marvel to share the franchise after the movie comes out, because things are decidedly not looking up for them as it stands.

    No, Fantastic Four. The stuff sounded really outdated - there were references to Mutants, for instance, and they've since said that the movie is in a completely alternate universe than the X-Men movies. But Twentieth Century Fox threatened legal action against some people that reported on it, which would imply that those were company secrets.

    In the meantime, Star Wars Anthology: Underworld doesn't even have any work on done on its script done yet. There's no way the script for it could have leaked when it hasn't even been written.

    So you're Josh Trank. Fant4stic is getting eviscerated by critics (and from the looks of things, rightfully so), and many question why you would have been sought out to direct a Star Wars movie. What do you do on opening night? This, of course!

    Good riddance. Guy sounds like a jackass, and judging by the F4 reviews, not a very good director as everyone thought. Sounds like a blessing he's not involved in Star Wars anymore.

    I'm honestly curious to see his next project after this, though I'm glad it's not Star Wars. There were some very intriguing elements in F4, though not nearly enough to make up for the rest of the film. I can kind of see what the movie would have been like if he had been able to make his version; as it stands, it's pretty obvious what were his ideas and what were studio additions. Trank just isn't a "blockbuster" director; as much as Fox sucks, it does take a certain type of person to be able to handle studio intervention and still make a good movie without throwing tantrums and trashing your own film.

    Well, he was only fired from Konami because they've been acting like corporate f---wits for the better part of two years. Sony seems to be glad to have him, and honestly, I think Konami is really going to be feeling the pain of their tremendous mistake that they made by the time his next game comes out.
