A couple of things....

I always thought it was the "Forest Moon of Endor" .i.e. the moon is called Endor. Wookiepedia backs this up. However, this moon only has 8% surface water.....that is an awfully large body of water the "Death Star remains" are lying in.....

Oh, and the PLANET Endor is a gas giant, so there goes the theory that the Death Star crashed on the planet....

 

Wasn't their a sea in one if the Ewok Movies?

 

I agree with all of this, but I kinda doubt that Lando is "in control of" multiple planets. Lando has never felt like a leader to me. Too much in it for himself. Don't get me wrong, I love Lando though, especially Solo Lando, and think he will survive with Leia.

Seriously, if this movie has all of the things in it that I'm excited for, it's going to be 6 hours long.

 

8% would be enough water. Can't really tell how big it is from the trailer. I can't imagine the remains of the DS2 being somewhere else.

 

How high do you think her jump would have to be to clear or land on that tie?

 

There's actually a real world argument about whether a moon can have its own moon. In the SW galaxy, a moon had a battle station which was the size of a small moon orbiting it, so I can comfortably live with that.

I expect they will maintain the notion that the planet itself is a gas giant (not really so much because that's what the current canon says, but mostly because it makes the most sense). So if we accept that the DS crashed into a moon, IMHO it would make little sense that it crashed into a different moon.

 

She probably could have jumped on top the TIE If she wanted. She got high up.

I loved how she stood there and you could see her sensing danger, and then when it was nearly to her she seemed fearless. She was afraid many times in TFA, but shes obviously not as fearful of danger this go around.

 

Oh, I'm sure she did, a) I think she either jumps on top of it and gets inside b) completely clears it or c) basically slashes it in half and it crashes.

I'm just curious approximately how high of a jump is that? Obviously it could only be done with the aid of the force, but I'm just curious what people think. My toy silencer (sorry, my sons ) is obviously not to scale and would not be that difficult for a gymnast.

 

I don't know but Jedi can jump pretty high (see Luke and Obi Wan). Her jump was just more stylish because it was a scissor kick flip combo. It'll be interesting to see that sequence to play out.

 

Obi-Wan specially. In TPM he jumped meters high in his fight vs Maul.

Kylo is going to be brutal in this movie.

 

Sorry if its said in previous pages but is the space ship arriving to the planet the same one that is taking off from Jakku in Rey's vision????? I compared the moments and would bet the farm that is the same vehicle.

This trailer blew me away.

Story should be great, though I have never enjoyed JJ’s “style”: colors far far too saturated and much of his cinematography is frankly, immature...it always has been.

Tony Daniel’s has been overlooked far to long. Imho the Macgufin will be his head, as others have suggested.

 

Based on the trailer I'm now picturing Palpatine coming back and Luke Resurrecting to fight him. Luke wins and then disappears again.

The film ends with Rey instructing a group of Force users, now known as Skywalkers. Broom Boy is one of her students.

Force Ghost Luke looks on and Force Ghost Yoda appears beside him. Yoda turns and says to Luke "1000 years taught Jedi did I. Taught you I did. Why not Yodas instead of Skywalkers are they called?"

Luke responds "I didn't see you kicking the Emperor's ass. Isn't that why you were hiding on Dagobah?"

they changed the position of kylo's scar. they can change the percentage of water on the "forest moon of endor" if it serves the story.

 

I was thinking about the sequence of events... and I think there are a few hints.

JJ said taht the movie starts in that Jungle Planet where the MF is parked
Then I believe comes the desert planet: in the picture of Oscar/Poe running, he's wearing a scarf around his neck.
But in the scene with him, Finn and Rey looking at the DS's reamin, the scarf is around his arm, as if it wraps a wound
So I think this comes after the battle in desert planet
