    I gotta say, I was never very excited about the idea of Starkiller Base. But that thing is pretty cool looking. Starting to win me over.

    I can't be the only one who sees some blatant foreshadowing with Rey's staff lining up with Kylo's lightsaber. Not crossing it, lining up with it, so much so that if you look at it from far away it looks like she's holding Darth Maul's lightsaber... Just sayin' ;)

    Starkiller base ie the weapon looks like it wraps around the planet. So maybe an actual moon that is a weapon instead of a weapon that looks like a moon.

    I will say, the only thing I'm not a gigantic fan of is how crowded the overall poster is with characters. As much as I actually like the Prequel posters, that was my main complaint with them as well.

    Starkiller base looks intense. I'm not a huge a fan of the whole "super weapon" rehash, but dang, that's a pretty cool design!

    I love it. Beautiful, colorful, not entirely teal/orange, with what I assume is a lot of foreshadowing with Kylo, Rey, and Finn.

    So much to analyze. It'll be fun to read through everyone's thoughts on this poster.

    Edit: I was looking through the casting order. Notice that Mark Hamill is in there so Luke will be in the movie in some form.

    That's what I'm getting from that image. Looks like they dug into the surface of the moon and created that. Guess that's what they've been doing for the last 30 years.

    looking closely at the Starkiller, it either looks to have an atmosphere or visible shields? Maybe it is a Moon that they turned into a weapon.
