SPECULATION The OT with a good Anakin.

    I am sure this has been touched on! But the events in Sidious office, changed the galaxy! But what if it went down completely differently, what would the OT look like?

    Basically it goes.
    - Anakin draws his lightsaber, pointing it at Sidious.
    - Realizing he's failed to convert Anakin.
    - He pulls his second saber and a battle between the 3 continues!
    - Mace still dies being killed by Sidious in battle.
    - Anakin and Sidious have a heated battle but ultimately Sidious is able to over power him with the force, sending him to the wall knocking him out!
    - A short time later Sidious is joined by his hidden apprentice (a powerful night mother product).
    - Sidious chooses to carbon freeze Anakin and has him put aboard his cruiser, potential clone possibilities.

    - The events after here follow a similar course, order 66 commences, the new apprentice (Lets call him Steve) follows Anakins original course, helping purge the Jedi temple and Steve takes the mantle as Sidious right hand aboard the death star with Anakin frozen in the lower levels-

    - While saving Leia, Ben leaves the group and goes looking for his old apprentice.
    - He finds Anakin in the lower levels, putting him on a hover table he floats the frozen Anakin out!
    - When they get to the hangar seeing Luke, Han and Leia in toe.
    - Pushing Anakin onto the Falcon.
    - Steve shows up to stop them, having been well trained and powerful by now he manages to kill Ben, but allows enough time for the group to escape with Anakin safely aboard!

    What happens now? Who is the ressistance? Is Ashoka there? Who wins? Who dies? Maybe Ben survives?
    Do you have a better idea to set this up?

    P.S I am not saying this how I think it should be, just think it's a fun conversation for those also interested!

    Does this take into account of anakin skywalker still being the chosen one ?

    Yeah, well depending how you end it, he could bring balance or crush it . But your ideal version maybe not have him as the chosen one, or he ends up back in the darkness?

    He can still be the chosen one if it helps but just what would it look like.... So if he's still alive, sure he's the chosen one still.

    Well if he's the chosen one, then it would typically be a matter of time if he defeats plageuis and snoke.

    I wrote a series of fan fiction stories (well, only three) in which Anakin did become Palpatine's apprentice for a few days before he eventually rejected the Sith and turned his back on the new emperor.


    And then what? Evil will still exist. The possibility of another evil Force user will still exist. I don't see how destroying evil Force users like Palpatine and Smoke (or whatever his name is) is going to automatically bring balance. Will Anakin and other Jedi that still remain realize this?
