SPECULATION The plot glue of TFA we are missing

What glue are we talking, Gorilla, Elmer's, etc.?

 

I've been thinking Luke was on Jakku based on these images being so similar. It seems like the Force is drawing EVERYONE to Jakku at some point. Kylo, Finn, Poe, Rey, BB-8, the Falcon and maybe even Han and Chewie (who are enroute?). If Luke is in the shadows and through the Force can "see the future", maybe he is pulling some of the strings.

I know, I know. Boulders. I think the boulders are CGI back drop to add to the scene and show Luke is in another part of the Village away from where the action took place.

The Look-and-find book tells us that Han Solo was the ships previous owner.
So who owns it now?

Who is Lor San Tekka? Why does he have a message for the Resistance? Why is Kylo Ren interested in this message?

I think that's a bit of a stretch...

It's certainly possible, however, I think an ending with both of them going there would be kind of weird...
The scene just works better with Rey turning up and finding Luke there already.

Were it not for the boulders everywhere, I might agree...

We haven't seen anywhere else with boulders like that.

Who are the people who think they really know this movie? I think I'm up to date with all rumors and I still have the same questions I had 6 months ago.

I doubt it, as I said I think I'm up to date with all leaks and rumors. The questions are the same questions most people have been asking in these forums for months and we still don't any answers about.
I think the only information I consider important to the plot that I have learned in the last 6 months is that Rey has been on Jakku since she was 5.

 

They've revealed so much? They haven't revealed much of anything at all.

I want Rey to be related but if she is then I am quite sure there is a good explanation as to why and how she was left on Jakku.

The Falcon has to be part of the battle and was downed somehow there.

All our questions will be answered I have no doubt

 

How the hell does Poe get off Jakku!

 

Poe found a copy of Back to the Future on a Star Destroyer(Vader's favorite movie) and was inspired by the hoverboard,so he built one and got off Jakku because he's the best freaking hoverboard pilot in the galaxy.

 

If he is the best damn pilot in the galaxy sent on a mission by General Liea, Maybe he's on the Falcon with Han somehow?

It would have to be a super powered hover board to escape a planets atmosphere but yeah, I can totally see this happening in Star Wars, totally believable.

 

What we think we know is that there was am entire possible subplot with this creature.

Perhaps they were going to fix that downed X-Wing?

Seriously though, he probably get's somewhere and contacts the Resistance, and get's them to come and get him (off-screen of course).

I do wonder if the "news from Jakku" that the Leia receives in Moving Target is actually Poe after he escapes from the Star Destroyer.

 

I think the trailers reveal that Han doesn't know who Rey is, and because she's been on Jakku since the age of 5, I think Leia must have broken up with Han when she became pregnant and then sent Rey to grow up elsewhere. It wouldn't surprise me if MVS plays one of her foster parents, or that she had them and they're dead. Obviously, a 5 year old would need adults to look after her.

Is it Leia's 1st or 2nd child? If Kylo is their 1st child and he became evil after his jedi training, I could totally see Leia fearing the fate of her 2nd. So she broke up with Han before he knew about the pregnancy, which is why he doesn't recognize Rey on the Falcon, and why their reunion is so emotional in the film. Han and Leia need each other to be whole, but she has this secret she has to keep from everyone -- even her soul mate. And Leia's probably lied to Luke as well, if he's the one who trained Kylo and failed to keep him aligned with the light side of the force.

That's my crackpot theory. It's a space soap opera.

 

I believe Luke is Rey's father. I noticed something odd in the Star Wars Card Trader App. They have been releasing the "Journey To The Force Awakens" card set with different groups of the green variant on a daily basis. The groupings all seem to go together and yesterday they just released the second batch of cards with mostly Luke and one Rey card.

Another "theory" I have heard discussed multiple times is that between ROTJ and TFA, Luke's family lineage gets outed - in other words, the galaxy at large finds out that he was the child of Darth Vader. All things considered, that might be a great reason to hide my child on a deserted planet...

I've posted on this forum several times, not as much recently but I think it's important to remind fans-members that TFA doesn't need to be in a present time-line or in order.
The events can span 20-30 years for all we know.
I don't think Luke or Han/Leia would leave their children on the ravaged Jakku. There might be a reason how Rey got where she is.
