On this episode we discuss Star Wars heading back to familiar territory, filming scenes for Episode IX at a location used all the way back to the days of the original Star Wars, and we take a look at all of the latest news about the Star Wars expansion Galaxy's Edge at the Disney Parks.

We RUNDOWN several other news items like more signs that Billy Dee Williams may be coming back for Episode IX, and as always we answer your questions in #AskTheResistance, including whether R2-D2 and C-3PO should have bigger roles in Episode IX!

The facility is properly known as RAF Cardington. Shed 1 is on the left and Shed 2 is on the right (old 2013 photo). Shed 1 was built in 1915 and Shed 2 in 1928.

^ Airships R100 and R101 in their sheds in the late 1920's.
    R100 measured 719 feet, 9.5 inches long. (219.393 metres)
    R101 measured 777 feet, 0 inches long. (236.83 metres)

^ On October 5, 1930, the British airship R.101 crashed on a hill in Beauvais, France. The impact was gentle and survivable but the ship was inflated with hydrogen, and the resulting fire incinerated 46 of the passengers and crew. Two additional crew members died of their injuries soon after.

^After 1930, Britain stopped building airships and the two sheds became storage stations in World War 2 for anti-aircraft barrage balloons. After the war, the sheds fell into neglect.

^ In 1976, Shed 1 was used to film the Rebel base on Yavin IV in ANH.

^ Shed 2 was restored in 1994 and was used in 2015 to film the Yavin IV base for Rogue One.

^ Shed 1 was restored in 2015, and since 2016 is now home to the world's largest aircraft, the British-built Airlander 10 hybrid airship.

Although they are not "Sound Stages" (they're not soundproof), the Cardington sheds are each 5 times bigger than the largest Hollywood sound stage, and 3 times bigger than the world's largest sound stage in Germany.
