It damn well is! so jealous.

I animated his title though and included it in my new trailer. But here's a gif of it..

Got to say..I'm a little worried about the final product. Episode VIII that is.

Larry Kasdan said he was going to do something weird, then Oscar Isaac, John Boyega went ahead and said he was doing something dark and nearly Indy!

    Then...

Adam Driver more or less compared it to Empire..from a certain point of view...

    Months pass...

And recently Rian Johnson, said he wanted to make something fun and exciting sort of what TFA did.

So what happened?? Did he panic? was under pressure from the studio? or am I just imagining things?

That's a good one, Oscar & John were right, no panic alert IMO, he just knew when to start spoiling us.

Just a reminder - "Star Wars," even at it's most dark, is still a series of blockbusters. They are meant to be fun and exciting. Besides, having an independent feel doesn't mean something can't be fun. Case in point - "The Brothers Bloom" by... you guessed it, Rian Johnson.

Just watched Brick and Looper again two great films. I think TLJ is in good hands. I must watch The Brothers Bloom, I thought RJ only made two films. One in '05 and one in '12. I'll check this one out. See if I can find it on stream.

I can definitely reccomend it, just like two other Johnson's films. It has a distinct retro feel, great characters (especially Bang Bang) and is genuinely funny. Also, it was shot in Prague and that is always a good thing.

I agree the marketing started early for the film. Although in their interviews, they were dead serious. I trust in Rian Johnson, I just don't trust the boardroom at Disney!

We may never know what Rogue one could have been if it were truly just left up to Gareth Edwards. Ben M told us there is a completely different cut of the film.

What feeling did you have when you watched Empire?
I know I wasn't laughing, nor was I having fun, but I will tell you what. I couldn't keep my eyes off the screen. I was transfixed.

I feel the same way. However, you cannot say that it didn't have its fair share of fun and exciting moments, like the asteroid chase, escape from Cloud City, battle of Hoth and the lightsaber duel. Don't get me wrong, I also want TLJ to dig deeper into the Star Wars lore and into the characters, but it's still going to contains some truly thrilling setpieces.

Agreed, in RJ & JJ we trust. I'll keep an eye out for this different cut.

Those 2 movies don't feel Star Warsie enough to me. No time skip, title not referring to a battle or military action.

    I'm quite worried.

I was watching Raiders with this tweet in mind today.
During the scene where Indy meets with Marion, it occured to me that this could be what inspired the casino scene that was shot in Dubrovnik.

I think KMT's character is working at the casino and has some kind of artifact that the Resistance and the First Order both need. Finn and Poe are sent there and encounter a First Order agent (played by Benicio del Toro).
A fight ensues and evolves into a speeder chase.

These kind of movies also inspired George Lucas for his Star Wars movies. Furthermore "Three Outlaw Samurai" and "12 O'clock High" are great movies and very like Star Wars.
So, nothing to worry about. Rian Johnson will give us one of the best Star Wars movies ever. I'm quite sure about it.

When I thought of possible sequences that might have been inspired by Raiders I've always thought about the first Jedi Temple on Ahch-to and the temple where the Ark of Covenant was hidden, but this might be a good lead too.

Oh how I wish I can share your enthusiasm. TFA ruined the Legacy of the OT big 3 for me. Sorry I sound clouded.

You don't have to apologise for your own opinion. I liked TFA, even though I'm not a big fan of JJ. But I'm so excited for TLJ because of Rian. He is very different from JJ and in my opinion he is a much more talented director and story teller.

Indeed, especially Luke needs to redeem himself in the upcoming 2 movies and leave a lasting legacy.

Yeah that would be a interesting scene. He's taking part in a game as a cover role
