This statement is pure nonsense. It's so ridiculous that it actually ruins your credibility. Nothing you say can be taken seriously when you outright dismiss criticism of some very obviously bad movies. What a childish comment.

Luke's confrontation with Kylo, and how he met his end, were quite new for the franchise.

It's shocking how much Star Wars under Disney's rule has been mirroring the DCEU.

The Force Awakens = Man of Steel
The best box office success in its respective series, relaunch of its respective franchise. But in honesty, it was pretty bland.

The Last Jedi = Batman v Superman
Extremely divisive, but still considered a box office success though it performed below expectations. The beginning of the end.

    Solo = Justice League
    Flopped financially.

    Rogue One = Wonder Woman
A movie that was actually good and became a huge box office success.

No it hasn't always been about Vader. Vader and Anakin Skywalker weren't even originally the same being. The novelization supposedly written by George Lucas said right on the cover The Adventures of Luke Skywalker. Hell, I don't even believe the OT was originally the redemption of Anakin Skywalker even when the trilogy was completed much less always that was a pre-prequel retcon.

I've been a fan since 1977, would you mind to cease and desist with your arrogant and significantly false speaking for all of us?

One poster said he was slow to come around to the PT because he was too focused on the quality of the movies. I think that says a lot but of course I was his opposite number because I would excuse the poor quality for the story which I increasingly believe to be dodgy too and the supposed cohesion a dubious artifact of a few retcons turning Obi-Wan into a delusional liar and updated spin since I can scarcely reconcile the two trilogies to be in the same universe. Definitely Star Wars but taking place in a wholly distinct reality like a parallel dimension.

Even lowly Solo, to me easily the weakest of the Disney releases is significantly a better movie than any prequel unless you're talking Rogue One. TFA is near OT quality for me but a cut below. TLJ is for my money easily 2nd best in the franchise and maybe with time will be 1st.

We all see these movies through different eyes but to me it's a little over heated at least to claim we aren't getting high quality Star Wars.

Wow this is stretching it. I hoped for good DCEU films and only Wonder Woman is a good movie. Man of Steel started off bad and all of them have been bad besides Wonder Woman.

TFA vs MOS shouldnt even be compared even with box office. 2.1B vs 700M
TLJ vs BvS again shouldnt even be compared 1.3B vs 870M

Solo and Justice League are meant to be totally different BO. Justice League should be Avengers or TFA like numbers.

I doubt you could find many series film critics (not fans) that would even consider a critical analysis that says the quality is nearly as good with any of the DCEU besides Wonder Woman with any recent Star Wars film.
