HUMOR The Sequel Trilogy Movie Some Wanted Was Already Made

    And it was called BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE

    this is clearly being done for humor purposes so unbunch those knickers

    Hear me out.

    Common complaint: It dismisses the EU entirely, building it's own new universe.

    BVS: Is caked with loads of popular stories from varying great and beloved DC storylines smashed together with no real cohesion. But Dark Knight Returns was dope!

    Common complaint: Luke was greatly mishandled and we should have seen more badassery from him!

    BVS: Batman in this movie is basically Schwarzenegger in Commando.

    Common complaint: We should have seen The Knights of Ren!

    BVS: Random unrelated to the plot Knightmare scene!

    Common complaint: We needed to know more about Snoke and his plan!

    BVS: About 75 minutes of exposition to make sure that every inch of Luther's ridiculous plan is laid in painstakingly blatant terms, using several characters as nothing more than exposition devices. Also another Batman origin. And Luther's origin. And some more Superman origin stuff.

    Common complaint: TLJ didn't use enough of the stuff from TFA!

    BVS: Here is the last five minutes of Man of Steel again but with 100% more Ben Affleck! And now here's Zod's corpse in the last 30 minutes!

    Common complaint: TFA is just a rehash of ANH!

    BVS: Hey did we mention another Batman origin? Oh wait never mind. Never mind. Move along.

    Common complaint: There's no plan at LucasFilm for the future of Star Wars!

    BVS: Here's a nice 5 minute break in the action to very carefully layout the plan for Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Flash and Cyborg! Oh and the Knightmare scene, that's part of the plan! And the random Flash jumping through the screen saying he's too soon, that's definitely part of the plan! Even though absolutely none of this adds to the movie you are watching in any way at all.
