    Hmmm...so what now? If its destroyed it means no more kybers? And no more new lightsabers nor new Jedi? How will rey make her lightsaber/staffsaber then?

    All canon sources are allowed in quote games...but i just dunno any apart from Ahsoka's Im no Jedi and the father's Im neither a Sith nor a Jedi...I am so much more...and so are you :)

    Thankfully, there are other planets/moons with kyber crystals in the galaxy (in canon: Jedha, Lothal from Rebels).

    I thought this might be the case. so snoke persuaded the fledgling first order to build a giant weapon out of the planet most sacred to the jedi. I think he wanted luke himself to destroy it, but any of his supporters would do. this guy has some grudge against the jedi.

    Seriously, I had no idea and really never thought about that.
    I suppose they used the power of all those kyber crystals to generate All of that power to destroy systems. I guess they mined the crystals perhaps or generated their energy somehow??

    Seriously, Ilum just looks really different to me on SWTOR compared to how it appears in TFA. But I can kinda see it now

    I mean they confirmed it in Fallen Order. My guess is it was originally a trench and the first order later found it and finished it

    I'm pretty sure it's said somewhere that the Empire was actually the ones who started the construction of Starkiller Base, the FO just finished it. I think it's canon that Palpatine was deliberately building a super weapon there, not just mining the kyber.
