Things are looking really bad for Luke having any lines in this movie.... has anyone heard anything to the contrary yet?

 

Only thing even remotely close to a clue on this I've seen was the "order of character prominence" in the LA Times, which listed:

5) Driver 4) Boyega 3) BB-8 2) Ford 1) Ridley

My guess? Luke is omnipresent in this film, you probably see him in flashbacks and messages, little nifty surprises, he IS the film in many ways as the pieces of the puzzle come together, which is establishing that Luke is real and in fact, a lone moisture farmer saved the galaxy...and by believing that, you can too.

Enjoy it, Luke Skywalker is a legend now, almost mythical, some don't even believe he was ever real, some believe he is dead and the Jedi have been extinct for decades. I think that's awesome story telling.

And remember this is Kasdan at work here, he's a key reason you love Luke in the first place, BUT he's always admitted he's like Han Solo more and note that Harrison is listed number two on that list above.

There will be cool moments for Luke, if the twitter hype is true, the final shot of the film is epic, the best in the whole series.

 

The thing that i think shows the Pastebin is false is how it uses certain key features we didnt know (like R2 and Kylo freezing blasters) and features them prominently. Like isnt it fishy that the same day we find out about these features there just happens to be a 4 day old post with those exact points featured prominently. That is fishy to me. Im not saying it is false just that it is suspicious.

 

If you didn't have permission beforehand, your phones were confiscated...I'm emotionally done until Thursday.

Luke saves the day, but he is not the same Luke we all fell in love with. He's changed. He's brought out of seclusion by Han's death and the pain his sister feels because of it. He. Stands on a precipice and brings down both fleets with the force

I don't want to read that...clouded this film's future is...

 

I want to believe that starwarsspeculation one, but it's a little over-the-top for me to buy it. Sadly, I'm resigned to being massively disappointed with this film, both with how derivative the plot seems to be and with how little payoff there is to the driving force behind the story

 

I totally agree. This guy claiming that Luke pulls down fleets of ships with the force is a troll, and makes me actually believe the other plot summaries. If they are true, Episode 7 is gonna make me cry for a different reason than I thought it would.

 

I'm buying Deceitaboubds spoilers so far, a bit over the top but more believable than the others

 

I remember reading another "leak" where they mention that Luke turns up and starts * * up, so to speak. That would certainly be classed as * * up

 

His spoilers and the box office dude seen to match up along with the Mizzlewump spoilers (Luke saves the day but in a bad way...he has changed). But, then again, that's where they could have pulled it.

 

What fits better with JJ saying "I can't wait for you to find out" in response to people asking "where is Luke?" A cameo at the end? Or an epic display of force power to end a battle?
Maybe both are false, but if choosing one to go with, I choose epic Luke every single time.

 

HECK YES! If this is the real spoiler, then i will legit feel terrible i ruined it for myself. Where as the other one makes me glad i did. (Which you shouldnt want in your movie)
