I thought it would be a good idea to create a thread where people can connect and meet up to watch Episode VII, none of my friends that are big Star Wars fans live near me anymore and have had to move for careers or family or whatever. So if its okay with the mods I wanted to create a thread where we can post our city and pm each other with invitations to watch Episode VII with each other. If the mods okay it, I would ask that you post your city but communicate with details via pm. So I live in El Paso, TX for example and I would wait for fellow citizens of El Paso, TX to pm me if they want to coordinate in order to see the movie at the premiere. Probably noone should post a message until the mods approve the idea. Forums have a wide variety of rules and I'm not sure if this is allowed. I didn't see any rules prohibiting this. I also thought it might be cool if people could coordinate to wear costumes and stuff, maybe set up an after party or something. I'll bring a bottle of correllian whiskey.

 

Okay I think this is okay because I messaged a staff member and they didn't close it so anybody in El Paso interested in seeing Star Wars?

If people start using this to arrange trips to the theater, then absolutely.

 

I don't live in Perth but I lived there as part of a study abroad. It's a beautiful city.

As for anyone else: I'm already going out with my family and friends but anyone that's going to be at the Alamo Drafthouse in Richardson/Dallas, TX should give me a shoutout! I'm going to be front row for the 8pm showing but my group should be there early because parking will be a nightmare. I'd love to meet you while we're there and chit chat about one of the best series of all time.
