I dont think I ever saw a bad movie...Because I have a friend that recomments me stuff that is just right and alines with my taste. Even Surf Nazis must Die, was good for just watching it only once...

But there is one movie.....The SW: Holiday Special....it is really bad...And I did it because I needed to gross out on it after many other did try to watch it....

Anyone with kids and a netflix subscription should be able to empathize. But anything in the "Air Buddies" franchise easily takes the cake here. There is a world of unparalleled crap in the underbelly of the direct to video, kids movie, genre that nothing released theatrically could ever touch.

The temptation to say the prequels is great, but there are worse films.

As a horror fan, you can expect a lot of crap*. Personally, I enjoy most crap (it's s*** you have to watch out for). But here are some films that are candidates:

    Robot Monster (1953)
I should love this movie. I really should. But even the Mystery Science Theater 3000 episode can't make this entertaining to me and that should chill your soul.

    Prom Night (1980)
    upload_2016-8-7_15-0-28.jpeg
This is one of the most boring slashers I've ever seen. And it has the lamest attempt at a redirect ever. Yeah movie, I totally believe that the escaped mental patient is doing the killing despite the earlier flashback that set up a personal tragedy involving the victims.

    Cross Bones (2005)
The cover is cool. And the plot has promise (Survivor knockoff with an undead pirate killing the castaways). But it suuuuuuuuuuuucks.

*90% of anything is crap, to be fair

And I believe the Fifth Element director is now making a Valerian film.

Thanks for this info, I'm going to have to check the internetz for some digital versions of Valerian to check it out.

And it just further supports my notion that Star Wars is truly the first true blockbuster comic book film - even though it was "original" (sort of) - it still is basically right out of the pages of Buck Rogers, Flash Gordon and apparently, Valerian. All the Marvel and DC fanboys should throw some respect on the GFFA now, we don't get those films without Lucas in 1977. Awesome!

Because I already saw that exact same story in A New Hope, except ANH did it first and way better,

    1. I can see that. Did you like the any of the new characters? Kylo Ren was different and had more to his character than Vader did in ANH. (ANH btw is my favorite star wars film)

This was a film directed by Alfred Hitchcock that was released in 1939, and my god I can't stand it. This film is easily the most boring piece of cinema I have ever witnessed in my life.

I'd have to vote with the movies I walked out of the cinema from... Face/Off and Starship Troopers.

Neither worked for me... my friends are particularly scathing of me for my dislike of the latter, but I clearly just didn't 'get it'.

Honourable mentions also go to dross like Green Lantern and more recently the lamentable and wholly unnecessary Jason Bourne.

I Believe there's not even a remote contender against this one, this thread should be about finding the second worst movie ever because the first one is already achieved with this one, by far.

Fury Road does NOT belong in this thread. I'm not even mad, just disappointed.

It's a tie for me between OLD DOGS with John Travolta and Robin Williams, one of the worst comedies ever produced. I'm not easily convinced sober minds were involved in any aspect of that toilet deposit. The other is Law Abiding Citizen. A film that has quite possibly one of the worst plot twists in cinematic history. When I walked out of the theater after seeing it... it was one of the few times in my life I literally had the thought "that is time I wont' get back, and I genuinely want it back."

There's intentionally bad, B movies that never had a chance...which I don't really qualify for this.

To me, to be my worst movie ever, it has to be a film that had expectations and missed so badly despite every reason to succeed....

    In terms of recency....

Suicide Squad is one that comes to mind.
Good director, strong cast and essentially an unlimited budget. What you get is a 90+ minute music video with no actual story.

50 Shades Darker is one of the worst big budget big studio wide releases I have ever seen.
