My least-favorite movie is Borat, with dishonorable mention going You Don't Mess With The Zohan and Erin Brockovich.

This excludes movies that I only saw through MST3K - otherwise the list would be way too long. :)

There are probably worse I've seen, but none was more soul crushing for me than The Last Airbender. I was in denial about Dragonball Evolution too long for that to count. The Attack on Titan movies were really, REALLY bad, but they didn't destroy me...

I've seen some bad movies, but the movie I hate the most is The Punisher: War Zone. I should say that I am not in the target demographic for dumb gore-fest action movies, and it, like many of the movies I've seen that I didn't like, was something I saw with friends (take that for what you will). I went in not knowing much about The Punisher except he was a Marvel character. Aside from that the sound quality wasn't very good and so it was hard to follow at times.

But overall I found the movie to be boring, stupidly written and acted, and utterly gratuitous, which other people may appreciate but I do not.

I have no problem with gory movies. I do have a problem with pointless gore. I have no problem with action movies. I do have a problem with pointless action. While I'm not immune to spectacle and can appreciate a good set-piece action sequence, it has to be done well and be in decent context. This stuff was just irritating and I couldn't wait to get out of there. One of the very few movies I've given a 1/10.

Honorable mentions are Hot Tub Time Machine, TiMER, Immortals, Revenge of the Fallen, Battleship, and Napoleon Dynamite. All but TiMER- which sounded like an interesting speculative fiction movie to my unknowing self- were chosen by friends, though I was open to most of them and managed to mockingly enjoy Battleship. I hated Borat when I saw it too but I think it may deserve a rewatch. Immortals is almost as bad as Punisher to my mythology loving heart.

This Is the End. It’s the only film I’ve ever given a 1/10 to. I hate everything about it. The cast sucks and the “humour” is horrible.
