    Making Star Wars has updated us:

    We discussed the Bullhead design on this site and the podcast in depth back in January.

    Here you can see they tried the Bullhead as an X-wing pilot. This piece wasn’t given an approval to the best of our knowledge but the creature itself was built.

    Here we can we can see the Bullhead used as a “Rebel Base” technician or pilot of some kind:

    Back when Maz’s planet was an Exotic City the bullhead was designed to be a speeder bike thug:

    The TIE Straighter is one of my favorite designs that does not appear to make it onto the screen. I believe this design was to set the TIE apart from the average TIE, justifying the two seats (which Poe and Finn will need to escape in the film).

    I'm hoping the Resistance has a more diverse group of freedom fighters than what was depicted in the OT. It makes sense that since the Rebellion won some decisive victories against the Empire that more worlds and species had their confidence boosted and decided to give their full-on support to continue the fight.

    Im gonna cry if that Tie fighter doesn't make it to the screen. So freaking bad ass! Pure evil.
    Maybe this is the design of David Hobbins . He used to work on the Star Citizen game Before TFA , i bet they brought him on just for wehicle designs.

    The giant goggles made it to the screen though ,thats something :)

    That TIE fighter looks a lot like the Jedi Interceptor from Revenge of the Sith. Not saying that they are the same, but the leaked concept art does remind me of them.

    Those tie fighters look pretty bad-ass! 'Bad-ass and aristocratic' just as someone referred to Kylo Ren on here once. Not sure if we'll see them though in the movie. :/
