SPECULATION [Theory] Rey is the good in Vader.

I would also note that Maz Kanata was a toy of Anakin and obviously some part of his childhood and in Vader's head, something about Anakin.



At this point, this only picture could argue A LOT than we are in Anakin's psyche.

This toy is only known of Anakin in the whole Star Wars universe.

I said that I would explain the Solo's death so I will but I might be a little short in english to make this clear. Not really for the meaning of the scene but for the plot reasons.

This is obviously the Vader / Kenobi meeting in ANH but they changed Kenobi with the imaginary dad for it would have been too obvious and they already used it as a plot start with Lor San Tekka.

The talk between Solo and Kylo Ren is a father / son broken relationship.

And the scene between these two on the Death Star could easily match theses lines. All of them.

Your son is gone, he was weak so I destroyed him.

The big part of this was get the time back from the plot start and obviously a big part of the mystery box.

To make the link betweeen the two scenes, we have Poe who shoots at Kylo Ren when he killed Lor San Tekka and Chewie after the death of Solo. This means that killing the jedi wasn't a big deal for Vader but killing his fatherly figure started something he didn't expect ( see the plot start ).

 

This is the main "problem" of the theory is that every line is connected and make a lot of sense.

It's very Disney-esque if this story is about to make Anakin and Padme the greatest love story of all time ( because this is the real point of this ).

 

Finn is playing R2's character in ANH, litterally.

Get stuck in a battle, escape through space, get on a desert planet with a vital information, meet the hero and has a incident with the hero, makes friend with the hero, became his buddy then taking a shot at the end in the trench.

Maybe, they went the laziest possible or I don't know but it's mirroring R2's journey from start to end.

And he gets in a coma when Artoo gets back to life.

 

I'm not sure I'll change my theory after this trailer ...
