They're showing the first ten minutes of the film in a press/fan event in Mexico right now

I'm guessing NDA's were signed and phones taken away. Probably nothing huge in the first 10 mins.

Wasn't the first 10-15 mins of TFA or R1 shown in a similar fashion?

 

Well it looks like Rey’s parentage is not going to be revealed in the first 10 minutes. I’m disappointed That means there won’t be “My baby girl”

Interesting. I'd think if they'd want to keep things on the DL, NDA's would have been signed.

Here's Daisy from the event. Her outfit kind of reminds me of Luke's in ROTJ. Dressed in black and her flap representing the fallen flap on his shirt.

Or perhaps i'm disappointed due to the expectation that the footage shown would be 10 min, not 2 min.

I'm not disappointed by the content or substance of the scene... merely the deception of the event.

That said... i'm sure I will be rather critical of the actual scene (in terms of narrative, cinematography, etc.) once I have viewed it : )

The "Anonymous" symopsis seems interesting. I certainly wouldn't mind the movie going this way, but it also seems easy enough of a story to forge.

If it's true, though, I wonder what the other group saw?

 

So if it picks up from where Ep. 7 left off, do we get any outer space stuff like the other movies? I wonder if after the crawl, it pans down to show the Falcon flying in space toward the planet, with the final few seconds of TFA used, then the Luke/Rey stuff?

 

According to @Pomojema there are a lot of conflicting reports on what has actually been shown, so this leak needs to be taken with a grain of salt.

I think this is not the "beginning beginning" (if it actually happens,) but the first actual scene, after the crawl, pan to space, a shot of a ship, etc.
